10.01.2022 In the colder months we supply our guests in both The Dairy and The Shed with firewood to help keep them toasty warm. We source our firewood from @flametreefirewood - an amazing social enterprise that is all about trading firewood to fund conservation. For every two bags bought, a tree is planted to close the loop. 03.01.2022 We had the pleasure of hosting 50 school children through the Illawarra Environmental Education Centre and researchers from the University of New South Wales involved in "Project Platypus". This lovely adult female was found just a little downstream from our favourite swimming spot in the river, and with a few scars on her tail (most likely from mating) was tagged and released back into her home.
