25.01.2022 There are photos that are truly irreplaceable like this ceremony moment for instance... Such a beautiful & sweet moment, when dad looks so immensely proud at his daughter while Ryan the groom is holding his tears at bay. 23.01.2022 Yesterday I had the pleasure to photograph this delightful family at the Hervey Bay Botanic Gardens. Super mum Lynda doesn't have 4 or 5 but 6 lovely kids! Very impressive since sometimes my only son is already a bit too much for me lol. Two of her children are dating so their boyfriends joined in on the fun. It was a super sticky and hot day, but we didn't get that in the way of having a great time. Thank you Lynda, it was wonderful to meet your gorgeous family! With so ma...ny good ones it was hard to pick my favs but I think this is a wonderful little selection. What you reckon? 18.01.2022 Happy New Year everyone, may 2021 be a better one than 2020, filled with love, joy and health! Let's start this new year with this ripper of an engagement session! Joan (who happens to be my Dutch bestie) got engaged with Andrew last year. Since they both are mad about the outdoors, what better way to celebrate this than to have their session at a waterfall. The water was a bit chilly but these 2 love birds were determent to get some wonderful photos, and oh boy did we get ...some?! After the waterfall we headed to the dam, which was higher up the mountain, to take advantage of the last sun rays. Thank you guys for trusting me to be part of your epic journey. 18.01.2022 ~~~ SNEAK GUNALDA FAMILY SESSION ~~~ How much cuteness can there possibly be in one family?! Yesterday's afternoon session was so much fun with this gorgeous family. Caitlin and Ben just had bubba number 2 (end of August) and Miss.L was just so adorable and full of beans.... While mum was quickly giving baby I. a quick top-up on the boobie, Miss L. wanted to show her little baby doll too. As the family already had their Christmas tree up, I couldn't leave this great opportunity to create a lovely Christmas family photo for them including Archie their black labrador. We had a lovely afternoon with lots of cuddles and belly laughs. 11.01.2022 It's always so awesome having this wonderful family in front of my lens. Amanda and Mick have been clients of mine since Miss G. was only 9 months old (she's nine now!) I can't believe how much Master Z. has grown and even though Miss G. is a few years older, I don't think it won't be long before he towers over her lol. We had a great morning spending time at the Palmetum and it was so nice to see everyone again. Thank you, Amanda and Mick for creating these important memori...es for you! As COVID put a real spanner in their plans they are having their wedding planned for next year in May. 08.01.2022 My oh, my to say our night was interesting was an understatement! As my Aussie bestie Joan (who happens to be Dutch lol ) and her fella Andrew got engaged in May, and as I'm in Townsville anyway, it was only fitting to have an engagement session. We decided to head out to Crystal Creek and it all went really sweet until we came to the top of Paluma to take some more photos at the dam and take the advantage of the "golden hour". Andrew noticed a board saying we had to leave ...the place by 6pm otherwise we could be stuck, so we jumped in the car and drove down (mind you this was already after 6pm). Halfway down we were locked in so we head to turn around. The other way was about 3 hours back to the Ville, but we had no choice so out we went heading that direction with only a half fuel tank left. We must have been on our way for at least a half-hour and anyone who has been to Crystal Creek know the internet connection is rubbish, so suddenly our GPS just stopped halfway. As we didn't how to head back we went back to the road work guys and managed to get some fuel as we only had a quarter tank left now. Long story short, we got home at 12am and finally had some dinner and were pretty much ready for bed. The session was so awesome though so watch this space for more epicness! In 2016 I had the pleasure of capturing this sweet couple's wedding day so it was so lovely to see everyone again. This time a little bundle of joy had joined the family. 04.01.2022 Devastating news about this new COVID case in Brisbane as it means uncertain times again for couples who are or want to get married. My heart goes out to all those couples who're getting married this weekend and had to scale back their wedding to 10 people. Whether you're planning a big wedding or just an elopement, please remember that at the end of the day it about you and your partner's love for each other. My lovely couple Katy & Marti, who planned an all-day wedding but... ended up having an elopement instead and they had the best day! " Oh what a year! What started out as us planning a beautiful medium-sized wedding in the Tambourine hinterlands ended up becoming an elopement at the registry and Karin was by far exceptional and accommodating. While we regretfully cancelled our all-day wedding photography with Karin for 2021, I couldn’t bare not having her photograph our special day... even if it was a registry elopement and being heavily 8 months pregnant. Karin went above and beyond to make us feel special. Karin knew how to take the candid moments, and the extremely loved up soppy poses to the moments in between." Please don't let COVID stop your wedding plans, just be mindful what you have to do in case, plans need to be changed.
