22.01.2022 Sculptural beauty|| The simply divine craftsmanship of the Mattina Elm Burl desk designed by @daniellesiggerud is truly outstanding. Such a beautiful story behind the design of the desk which consists of two seperate table tops supported by three trunk-like legs, symbolising how two parts can be individual, but without being able to stand alone. Together they become complete - a reference to the love of two people as the desk was originally designed as a wedding gift to... @daniellesiggerud husband. When considering your kitchen layout and design, the practicality of drawers heavily outweigh cupboard doors allowing for full access of your drawer space and usage of the depth. @blumaustralia have a wide range of storage solutions to suit your requirements. Our client won’t know herself being an avid being able to have the flexibility of surplus drawer storage space.

09.01.2022 SERENITY || Soothing pastels for this master-bedroom suite. I’m beyond pleased with the finished result of this transformed bedroom suite along with my clients approach to being welcoming of the colour palette chosen for his calm and serene space.

09.01.2022 FRAMING SOLUTIONS || Throughout the interior design and styling stages for the South Perth apartment, one portion of the brief was to bring life to various sentimental prints that had been stored away due to the overall selection of framing not being complimentary to the image. Framing is an art in itself and choosing the right frame can enhance a piece of art or print or become a distraction. ... While it is important to select a frame that isn’t the focal point, you also want to be sure that both the image and frame work together. Consider the selection of colours in the art piece or print and choose a colour for the frame that blends in with the colour tones. It has been a absolute honour to handover the completed framed prints and see my clients reaction knowing that life has once again been brought back to the prints and forever be appreciated. 06.01.2022 Embracing the curves I think you may be aware by now that I am an avid fan of creating curves within my curations to create softness within a space and added structure. Needless to say, the simply sublime Elysia Lounge Chair from @delaespada was an instant attraction while sourcing client selections being drawn to the superior craftsmanship which has been to achieved to produce such a fine example of design finesse.

02.01.2022 Mesmerising masterpiece by indigenous artist Sonya Edney @japingka_ Tilted Gascoyne Country - Sunset. Acrylic on canvas 129 x 117cm ... This captivating piece of artwork caught my attention being instantly drawn to the level of detail provided to achieve a masterpiece with such an array of striking colours. Sonya Edney - My journey through Ingarrda Country is the artists statement about her homeland and her life journey to where she is today. Sonya is a Ingarra-Wadjarrinwoman from the Gascoyne region of mid-west Western Australia. Aspects of the Gascoyne country inform all elements of Sonya’s paintings. She captures the vast spinifex plains and parts of the Gascoyne River that flood, leaving behind winding waterways and clay pans. Artwork is extremely personal, for this reason I take great pride in sourcing my clients artwork pieces with the final choice being made to ensure that the selection draws meaning and assists in telling a visual story to be appreciated for years to come.
