25.01.2022 Australias coast is the final resting place of over 11,000 shipwrecks roughly one wreck for every three kilometres of coastline. The Australian National Maritime Museum have an amazing new exhibition called Submerged - Stories of Australias Shipwrecks - and it is going to be on display at Broome Library until July 12! We are very lucky to have it - access will be free - come check it out!

07.01.2022 The 2020 Corrugated Lines Program is launched! Broome, home to a wealth of talent in storytelling is excited and ready to host an abridged #festivalofwords next... Friday 31 July to Saturday 1 August. #corrugatedlines2020 is an event for both local lovers of words and visitors to the town who enjoy Kimberley stories and sharing a few tales of their own. The COVID-19 pandemic has meant that the festival will not go ahead in its usual form this year. Although thats disappointing, were excited to present an abridged version. **** Please be aware, due to physical distancing requirements, some events have limited audience capacity and tickets are required via Eventbrite. **** Hard copies of the Program are available at Broome Public Library, the Kimberley Bookshop or Magabala Books.
