17.01.2022 SAFETY WARNING Your familys safety is paramount when selecting the location of gas appliances. This Natural gas hot water service was located within a rear verandah area with adequate ventilation available to supply air to the burners and disperse products of combustion from the flue. This is until the residents installed cafe blinds to seal in the verandah to produce a really nice entertaining area, but at the same time rendering the hot water service non compl...iant and very unsafe for anyone using the outdoor area. We have cost effectively moved the hot water unit out of the rear verandah to the external wall of the home, removing all dangers to the residents. This was not a confident method of repair and the resulting damage could have been a lot worse. The home owner was lucky to have been home when the previous repair gave way.
