23.01.2022 Today we linked up with @ironhorsegentlemen and made a run to Wallaga lake to give out water, fresh fruit, snags, eggs, milk and more. Everyone was so great full. Power is back on just now at BERMI. Word is, BERMI and Cabargo don’t need anything more so tomorrow we’re heading to Quaama to cook a massive BBQ and all we have left and give away the last of the supplies we brought with us. We have heaps of water as well. please spread the word if you know anyone in Quaama. We will be near the RFS Shed.

18.01.2022 Evening All, Well we said a few days ago that the Ironhorse Gentlemen crew still had one more trick up our sleeve, so here it is. After our initial aid run to s...upply food, we cooked the community of Quaama a BBQ which was aimed at both feeding people, but also bringing people together. This was followed up by supplying basic tools to aid people's cleanup effort. We were able to achieve this due to all the generosity we recieved through donations. After completing this we found ourselves with $2000 dollars leftover. Throughout our endeavour we have always maintained that we wanted the support effort to target those that needed it most. Whatever we did with your donations had to have a tangible impact to give our supporters the biggest bang for their buck. We found an initiative where there was a family with a little girl in a community outside Cobargo called Wandella and a group of tradies, neighbours (one of whom lost his own house) were digging in to build this family a home while they rebuild. 10 day's ago they poured the concrete slab. The photos below show the house at lock up. This was achieved by people helping eachother through tough times and a CFMEU builder Gary McCarthy who is jointly organising the venture along with Peter Cox. Anyway the $2k went to this project because it's helping to provide a family a home. After the money was handed over it was explained to us that the donation had just taken the project from being in the red to black... that's awesome and all our supporters should be very proud. Along with the monetary donation Jas Brown owner of BROWNIES ELECTRICAL has offered to donate his services if these guys build another home. Bloody legend J Shortly after handing over the cash it all went to crap again down here with more house's lost but luckily no lives locally. For me it's an extraordinary mix of emotions supporting the building of a new home and an hour later not being able to save someone else's. But that's life I guess. On a positive it's not everyday you get waterbombed by a sky-crane. Love those things On behalf of the Ironhorse Gentlemen crew and extended family I want to say thankyou for all your support. Without the support we recieved none of this would have been possible. We are extremely grateful. Signing off for now for a nap, back into it tomorrow. Cheers

04.01.2022 We have been lucky enough to trade in Canberra as an electrical company since 2008. A few years ago we become so busy that we had to start saying no to the smaller domestic work, the callout work and the residential maintenance type of work. That type of work wasn’t plausible for us anymore. We have fine tuned ourselves to service all types of New homes, renovations, commercial fitouts, commercial maintenance, developments and subdivisions. We receive calls every day asking... us to do work we simply can’t get too. All those conversations end in Can you recommend someone and lately We’ve had to say No, Sorry.
