17.01.2022 Kim and Julian from The Presets came by last week for a session at BASS. Great time had by all- they were stoked with the sound and would loved to have taken the EMT stereo echo plate home with them had it not been the size of a small car. I'm sure they'll be planning their next visit soon.

06.01.2022 Spent the afternoon in the recording studio with The Presets because you know, that's what pastors do! The guys had heard some of our members singing online and... wanted an African sound to one of their tracks on an upcoming album. So they came to Shepparton to work with 9 of our singers for the afternoon. An awesome experience. See more

01.01.2022 Pulled out some classic 70's demos over the weekend. Played back on the ATR102 which sits near the Ampex MM1100 16 track that it was originally recorded on. The band is 'Cycle', a great early 70's Melbourne band. The guitarist, David Briggs, went on to join LRB and is now a well known recording engineer and producer in his own right.
