24.01.2022 Great to see all the volunteers at the Club for the last day of the QRU Santos All Schools 7s Carnival, we had 30 strongly committed Club members here today putting in a huge effort to raise funds for our Canteen Fit Out in the new Club House. Cooking hundreds of burgers and sausages, dozens of coffees and sold thousands of drinks, marshalling and ball kids for over 100 teams in competition. Thank you for your dedication and commitment, many of you for Friday, Saturday & Sunday,

19.01.2022 Passing of Allan Woodford We are saddened today to hear about the loss of Allan Woodford the long term President of the South Pine Sports Association (SPSA), the overarching committee at South Pine Sports Complex that represents all the individual clubs. Allan has been a long term supporter of community sport and a strong advocate in enabling the current redevelopment providing our new Club House.... A great loss to the community. We have passed on our condolences as a Club to his family. Allan funeral details are yet to be announced.
18.01.2022 Tonight is the final night of the Carseldine Quality Meats BJRU Summer 7s at Albany Creek. The canteen and coffee van will be open and the bbq will be stoked, so dinner and drinks are sorted. Why not grab a burger or a snag for the last night! Games commence at 5:40 pm and run through to 9pm across the 5 fields. Details of game times and fields are on rugby Xplorer and rugby match day apps. If in doubt approach the BJRU desk and they can help.... Thanks to all the volunteers, referees, first aid officers, managers and coaches and in particular the BJRU who have made this so enjoyable for all the players and supporters. Without these people this event cannot take place. If you see a volunteer or ref, first aider etc tonight- say thanks- they’ve worked very hard to ensure the kids can enjoy themselves and have fun playing rugby 7s. All the best to all the teams for their final games tonight and hope to see you all back playing rugby again in 2021!
18.01.2022 PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE SPONSORSHIP 2021/2022 EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST Congratulations to all players for another great weekend of rugby. It is a little sad to see the season coming to an end so quickly. 2021 is a special year for the Brumbies as we celebrate the 25th birthday of the club and open our new clubhouse. Our committee is working behind the scenes to ensure it is a year of celebration (within our new COVID norm).... We have recently reviewed our club sponsorship offerings and are delighted to announce there will be several new sponsorship opportunities for the 2021 and 2022 seasons. The affordability of these new packages might surprise you and there are lots of fantastic benefits for our sponsors. One of our new initiatives is a Supporter level sponsor, which is extremely affordable and provides benefits such as social media, website presence, signage and a highly coveted spot for your logo on up to 400 training shirts (over 2 years). We have extremely limited spots available in all sponsorship categories. Local sporting clubs rely on sponsorship to operate, but we know it is also a proven way for local businesses to grow their network, brand and profile locally. Sponsorship is tax deductible and is a more affordable and targeted way to advertise to the local community. We are very committed to ensuring our sponsorship relationships are mutually beneficial and we work closely with every sponsor to ensure they feel the value. I am now taking expressions of interest for new sponsors for the 2021/2022 seasons. [email protected] An expression of interest is in no way a commitment to sponsor. I am happy to confidentially provide our sponsorship prospectus to any club member who would like to take a look and consider it for next year. Our new prospectus will be available from Friday 18 September 2020. Our sponsorship program for 2021/2022 must be finalised by late November, to allow time for shirt and jersey design and printing. Time is of the essence. I look forward to hearing from you. Cheers Col
18.01.2022 The Club has had a challenging year with revenue down and costs up due to the COVID pandemic. With reduced spectators, due to controls, there had been reduced income in the canteen. 17.01.2022 With construction on our new building underway, this small shed became the centre of our operations this year. Tony Kelly and Liam Doyle worked for many hours in the pre-season to make this new shed a functional facility that would see us through 2020 and become a valuable asset for the club to use in the years ahead. We owe Tony and Liam a great deal of gratitude for the enormous amount of work they put into making this building a practical and well-used asset. ... Today we had some long-awaited signage added above the roller doors to acknowledge their contributions. If you see them around tonight or this weekend....give them a high-five to say thanks!
