25.01.2022 During COVID, one of our amazing customers decided to make us smile by turning up each Wednesday as a different character. Before he knew it he was famous in town and was told he HAD to visit the post office too. Thanks Steve for always making us smile, not just on Wednesdays, but everyday.

23.01.2022 Hey everyone, we are SO very excited to be able to welcome you all back for dining in tomorrow. It has been a LONG time and we hope you have missed us as much as we have missed you. Paul, Chloe and I would really REALLY truly like to thank each and every person who has walked through our door since March, for it is only you who have kept our business going. Without you, in all honesty we wouldn't still be here. We will be adhering to all COVID requirements, collecting custom...er data for those who dine in, sanitiser will still be readily available for everyone to use. Social distancing regulations will allow us to have 18 patrons dining in. We have decided that rather than having to tie people down to bookings only at this stage, we will just see how things go. Of course if you prefer to book you can of course do so as well. Moving forward, both our "Brunch"@home and "Brunch"in a box services will remain available. We have decided however that at this stage we will NOT be undertaking any catering orders. The main reason we have opted to do this is to help other small local business who offer this service as their main source of business. There are SO many home caterers locally who we are sure would LOVE to hear from you, so please get behind them as you have gotten behind us. 22.01.2022 We will be re-opening on Tuesday the 16th of June at 7.00am. We will have limited table seating back, and will be adhering to all required regulations. These include all social distancing rules, sanitising, cleaning and obtaining contact details of anyone who dines on the premises. (We only require a name and contact number) We will NOT send these details anywhere or add you to some marketing list, or SMS you every week with our specials. In fact your details will be sealed securely daily, taken OFF the premises, with these only opened and referred to should an outbreak of COVID-19 occur and we need to contact any of our customers. 21.01.2022 **BRUNCH NEWS** We are very much looking forward to some live music, please join us this Sunday between 11.00am and 1.00pm for the amazingly talented Jose Garcia - Musician. We will be open up until 4pm on Christmas EVE, unless we run out of stock then we may close earlier. We have decided after what has been a very emotional and turbulent year that we will be closed from the 24th of December and re-open on Tuesday the 12th of Jan. We wish you all the best of the festive season.

21.01.2022 We are trying really hard at the moment to cater for all dietary needs. It is not viable at the moment to cook large cakes, so we have amended our walnut brownie and it is now not only chocolatey, squishy and nutty, BUT it is also gluten free.

18.01.2022 Thank you to each and every person who came to visit us today on our re-opening for dining in. Thank you also to the upcoming diners who have made bookings. Today was a wonderful day and we are so grateful to still have a little cafe to run. Very fitting today as way back on the 25th of January 2015 our very first customer was the lovely Kerry Deacon, and today she was the first person to dine it. Thank you Kerry for still coming back after all this time. Forever to us you will ALWAYS be known as "Number one" "Numero Uno" and all the other nicknames we call you. We looked back into our records today and the last time we could have people sitting inside was way back on the 7th of July...almost 3 1/2 Months ago. Please be patient with us as we re-learn how this dine in thing works..LOL....and that's a wrap on Day one post lockdown. :)

15.01.2022 While we know we have until midnight tomorrow night, we have decided for the health safety of the community we love that we are ceasing dine in services effective immediately.

14.01.2022 **Brunch News** Hi everyone, just thought it was time we touched base with you all and let you know what is happening with Brunch. As you may or may not know it looks like the 1st of June is when restrictions will be eased for the hospitality sector, and dine in service (in a revised way) should be allowed.... We have decided that we won't be re-opening our dine in service on this day, in fact we will be closing our doors for 2 weeks with the last day being the 31st of May. We will then be re-opening on the 16th of June as a NEW, revitalised Brunch. We are doing this for a couple of reasons, some you will like and some you won't, but we know that you can't please everyone all of the time. With all that has gone on in the past couple of months with Covid 19, we are all emotionally exhausted and just need a break to gather or thoughts and make these changes. Firstly, we are having our whole shop floor replaced, as after 5 1/2 years the old lino is looking a little worn, and it is time for something more robust & hard wearing. Our take home meals have been so popular, we will be keeping this service. We thank you for embracing the idea, and we have listened to you all when you have told us you want it to stay. To allow our freezer to stay, and to comply more with ongoing social distancing requirements, we will be including the lounge area in the re-flooring, and removing the lounges and play area. This will allow us to utilise this area for further table space, which is something we will so desperately need in the future. It will also allow us in the future to have larger groups in one sitting by creating a space that can seat up to 12 people at the one table. We really, REALLY need to thank every single one of you who has walked through our door over the past couple of months as it is you who has kept our business up and running and viable through what has been a very trying time. We love you all, we love our community, and we only survived this because of you. THANK YOU <3 Elise, Paul & Chloe

Due to our limited seating, if there is only 2 people in your party we will politely request that you utilise a table for 2 and leave our limited larger tables for larger groups. We thank everyone who has understood this, and has moved table without question. These are still tough times, and we are simply doing the best we can. <3

03.01.2022 Hey everyone, We have been asked a lot lately if we are doing anything "special" for Mothers Day and the simple answer is yes we are (but not what we planned) One of the reasons we changed our hours to be open on Sundays was so we could make Mothers & Fathers Days special and take bookings etc. Well in the current state of the world, this is disappointingly not possible this year. :( We could have offered gift hampers but taking business away from other small local businesses... is just not something that sits comfortably with us at all (and never has) There are so many local businesses that already do these, and do such an awesome job. As a small business we have been lucky enough to keep our doors open and some of these other business have not so we ask that you support them where you can. If a hamper is not what you are looking for, we have some awesome new gift vouchers we have been working on, so you could always give Mum a voucher to use later for a sit in meal, or buy one of our family take home meals so she doesn't have to cook on Sunday. :) <3 **Please note CarmEli Old Fashion Cooking is fully booked for Mothers Day, but keep them in mind for future hampers! 03.01.2022 Well, what a wonderful re-opening day we had yesterday. You all loved the new revitalised Brunch and we couldn't be more thrilled. 02.01.2022 One more week until we re-open. Our little shop is really starting to take shape now. New flooring, new lighting, new storage and lots of little other fiddly little finishing touches. The best thing is this time we haven't done it all ourselves, we have utilised lots of local tradies to help us. We really can't thank them enough. We can't wait to see you all on the 16th, OH and we even have new uniforms too. :) <3
