25.01.2022 We are trying to get 10 used phones donated for the use of Brunswick Salvos clients. SIM cards are being provided by the Brunswick Uniting Church. The phones are only going to be used for making and receiving calls plus texts. They do not need to be smartphones although they can be. Need to have a battery life of at least 4-5 hours on standby (if not being used as a smartphone). They need to be unlocked (not tied to a particular carrier although we can probably unlock them if necessary). We will clean them of any personal info and take them back to factory defaults before handing them over. Do you have an old handset that you have upgraded from? Charger too. Comment below if you do.

08.01.2022 We are almost ready to produce masks. All we need is you! The Brunswick Salvos have asked us if we could provide a few reusable masks for their clients in the Brunswick area. So over the last few weeks, we have been looking at mask designs, buying fabric and elastic for the 3 layer mask and preparing mask packs. We are almost ready to release the mask packs for volunteers who have a little sewing ability. They can be hand sewn or machine sewn and instructions / pictures / a template will be provided in the pack. We are asking if you can complete the production of 5 masks in the pack. Pickup will be at the Lomond Hotel (bottle shop drive though for contactless pickup) at the corner of Blyth and Nicholson Streets, East Brunswick. We need about 12-15 volunteers to do it in the next 7 days from Monday the 14th of Sept.

06.01.2022 Working together with Flemington Kensington Rotary, we connected St Peter's Church East Keilor to 40 chairs that Flem Ken were selling. Which helps with fundraising and giving some chairs a second life. Two Presidents masked and distanced, getting their hands dirty (President Anne and President Peter).

04.01.2022 Sad news just in that PP Eric Marshall (an honorary member of the club) has just passed away after a long illness. PP Eric was a major contributor to projects of the Tullamarine Club through his business ePlas.
