22.01.2022 I've been very quiet on here of late, but big things are happening. Emma and I have decided to put the farm on the market while we decide what to do next. I am still raising pigs and making my products and will continue to be at the Farm Gate Market. I am also very excited to be a part of the Street Eats @ Franko team again starting next week. In fact, you can catch Emma at the Farm Gate Market today. There are rillettes, pork and fennel sausages, Toulouse sausages, chipola...tas, dry cured bacon, fresh pork and mustard. Here you can see our daughter Molly concentrating very hard to get the feed buckets ready for the pigs. We collect the spent brewing grain from our almost neighbour Bruny Island Cheese Co. & Bruny Island Beer Co. weekly to fatten up our porkers. 12.01.2022 Hello all, The big news this week is that we have sold the farm so our time at the Farm Gate Market and Street Eats Franko is coming to an end (all too quickly!). I will be at the Farm Gate Market tomorrow 24 December and next Sunday 31 December for the final time. Youll find me at Street Eats @ Franko each Friday until 5 January.... For tomorrows Farm Gate Market I have prepared a fresh pork bonanza! Get in early to get the cut you want. I have also been busy making rillettes (large and small jars) and mustard. As many of you seem to have a mustard addiction, I have made a batch of 700g mustard buckets (3 and a half jars worth of mustard per bucket) as well as the usual jars, and plenty of them. Ive also made a batch of sambal. All make great Christmas gifts... There will also be the usual pork and fennel sausages, toulouse sausages, chipolatas and dry cured bacon. See you there.
