18.01.2022 "Good morning!" With all the beautiful summer weather we've been having, even this handsome Leopard Seal couldn't help stopping by to enjoy the beach at Dover i...n Tassie's South. Leopard seals breed on the Antarctic pack ice but occasionally venture out to visit our shores, with an average of five leopard seals visiting the Tassie coast each year. If you happen to encounter one of these majestic animals, please contact Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Services. It is important not to disturb these beautiful antarctic visitors, and is recommended that observers keep at least a 10 metre distance.
