22.01.2022 *Complacency ruins perfection* On the back of the announcement this morning that there had been community transmission of Covid 19 for the first time in months, I decided that it has again become a necessary practice to wear gloves on site, sanitise vehicles prior to, and post repair, as well as the standard social distancing. This was all reinforced with the governments requests for temporary closure of some ‘non essential’ businesses this evening. I am also prepared to wea...r a mask should the customer request . Although I am significantly less effected by the shut down than many, being an ‘essential service’ and mobile at that, I do feel for those owners and employees who have to shut the doors on their otherwise thriving business again. You, and the vulnerable members of our community are the reason for mine and others abundance of caution at this time. Hopefully together we can minimise the impact! Stay safe, Bryce.

This is just one of the many differences you will experience when putting your trust in a business driven by customers, not KPI'S. ... It is easy to take customers for granted when they simply walk through your front door, as they have done for years. It is impossible to take customers for granted when you start a business with none. 12.01.2022 On site air conditioning repairs! Even though it feels like we have just gone back a season, some people are beating the summer rush. Pictured is a little Hyundai receiving a new air conditioning compressor, T.X valve, receiver dryer, 'O' rings and service valve cores. The correct R134A refrigerant, as well as oil and dye were charged back into the system, giving it a chilly vent temperature of just 4 degrees. Fully accredited by the Australian Refrigeration Council to rec...ycle the old gas and supply the new gear. Authorisation Number: AU52671. Thank you to my customer for trusting Bryce.

09.01.2022 A logbook service and some repairs on this late model Subaru. As pictured the timing belt kit was replaced. This was noted as being 20,000ks overdue by me on the service report. Something the customer was not actually aware of, due to it not being brought to his attention at any previous inspections. I was particularly glad the repair fit in the customers budget once it was pulled down, because you will notice the hydraulic timing belt tensioner is leaking fluid (Pictured before and after). If this repair had been left for even another service interval, it is quite possible that tensioner would not have been able to hold the correct pressure on the belt, resulting in unnecessary engine damage.
