25.01.2022 Sleep or Lack of it I had suffered the lack of it for many years not sleeping alot was normal for me. 5 years ago when we first met and started the FIFO journey together, sleeping became a little worse and then my partner when he was onsite had difficulties getting back to sleep when he woke during the night and on shift change where sleep was needed during the day.... I have always loved essential oils and experiencing the amazing benefits of using them in our lives everyday. 24.01.2022 Super Excited The new 250ml size Hemp Seed Oil is in stock today This stuff goes fast This is Hemp Seed Oil not CBD... Its about awareness and education. CBD Oil versus Hemp Seed Oil. Both benefit our health but in different ways. It becomes extra confusing when CBD companies use the term hemp oil to market their product. Yes, Ive been confused by it all to. So, I have done a little research and hope that what I share below will help clear the confusion for others. Many companies use the term hemp oil instead of CBD to avoid problems with the FDA. The best suggestion that I can give to begin with is if a company markets CBD oil as hemp oil look on the ingredients label for terms like CBD, Cannabinoids or hemp extract, if it contains these it is CBD oil. Hemp seed oil doesnt contain any cannabinoids like CBD, instead its rich in nutrients and also contains omega 3, 6, and 9 which are recognised as being essential to our bodies and brain. CBD oil and hemp oil come from different parts of the cannabis plant (cannabis sativa). CBD oils uses the whole plant while hemp oil comes from its seeds. Due to the introduction of CBD oil, hemp oil that is derived from the seed is now identified as Hemp Seed Oil to help with the confusion between the two. CBD oil is made from a variety of parts of the mature hemp plant including the stalks and flowers. In order to get the CBD oil and other compounds from the plant they must be separated in a process called extraction. This extraction is done by most using ethanol extraction or the co2 extraction process. During extraction, useful parts of the hemp plant are usually pelletized, and a solvent used to pull out the CBD oil. By using this process there is a chance that when you have a drug test it will show up as its not THC free. Hemp oil now referred to as Hemp Seed Oil, is only made from the hemp seeds. Its created by a process called cold processing. This method helps to preserve all the raw nutritious contents of the seeds. Hemp seed oil doesnt contain any CBD or other cannabinoids like THC. Without sleep it will be hard to function, lack of it can affect our entire life. There are many different things that can cause our lack of sleep. ... Did you know that as adults each night we should aim for 7-8 hours of sleep. As a teenager or children they need even more, 9-10 hours. We live in a society that is often sleep deprived. 23.01.2022 Did you know that just because the shop is closed a couple of days a week, it doesn't mean I sit on my butt doing nothing. 22.01.2022 Can you believe how fast this year is going, its been a challenging year for many, in so many ways Welcome to October, I wake up every day being grateful, however this month I'm extra grateful, you see on the 3rd October 2019 my business began, every single day is a challenge, well worth it though. What I do is my passion, my love. 22.01.2022 Did you know that Anxiety is the most common mental health condition in Australia One in three women and one in five men will experience it at some stage in life. Over two million Australians experienced Anxiety in a 12-month period. Anxiety is more than just feeling stressed or feeling worried. Anxiety is when the anxious feelings don’t go away. Sometimes the anxious feelings happen without any particular reason. When the feelings are ongoing it can make it really hard to ...function and cope with our daily life. I can remember the very first time that I experienced Anxiety, I had no idea what was going on or that I even had it. I was going through a separation from my ex husband and at the same time I was sacked from a job due to the separation affecting my work. Back then when this happened to me, there was no awareness of Anxiety, there was a stigma attached to it. I wanted to avoid the world and what was going on at the time, I wanted to lock myself away. I would worry a lot, my heart would race, I would always overthink things, the unwanted thoughts would creep in, I would say horrible things that I didn’t really mean, I would find it hard to breath, I would be fearful of what was going to happen. Anxiety is also known to be normal in stressful situations like public speaking or taking a test, it is only an indicator that something is not quite right when the feelings become excessive and begin to interfere with our every day life. After seeking medical help, I was placed on medication for a short time and also went to counselling where I received Cognitive behavioural therapy which taught me so much. Over the years I began to learn what triggered my Anxiety and recognised when Mr Anxiety was beginning. I learnt to make lifestyle changes for the better, I began to learn meditation, I went for a walk daily, listened to uplifting music, looked at things more positive and changed my mindset. Today I am 100% better than I use to be. One area that I want to help make things a little easier for others in is Anxiety. I created a roller blend for myself to help ease those anxious feeling days that I still experience from time to time and when I noticed it worked for me, I began sharing it with others to help them. 21.01.2022 Your self care and spending time with your loved ones is important never get so busy that you don't find time for yourself and them As many know I am a FIFO Partner and its this that helped show me my passion of health, safety, and wellness. Since covid started there have been many changes to our lifestyle, our roster was all over the place, from 2n1 to 4n2, to 2n2, back to 2n1, there was no set fly in out time, some don't even get to go home to loved ones for rnr.... Fly in day is Friday, we are back to normality so the times below are the hours the shop will be open from tomorrow, I will be adding another sign on Sunday that will show the remaining days and times. As I opened today, which I normally don't, I will be closed on Wednesday to allow for stock creation. The time change is only for the next week so I can spend time with my partner. 01.01.2022 The wellness range that I make and share with you all is made with love and intention by scratch by me in Perth Western Australia from 100% Pure Natural Essential Oils and Non Toxic Ingredients. No fragrance oils are used. Its about natural wellness. What does made by scratch mean, it means I have an idea, I research what essential oils, ingredients help with that particular idea/ailment, I then blend the oils to certain ratios, and ensure the oils used has a nice aroma tha...t blends together well, if its not right its safely disposed off and I begin again, its then tested by myself or my testers.
