24.01.2022 Alison Kirk, Junior Director, has asked that this lovely report from Busselton Tennis Junior, Hannah Nichols, be forwarded to all club members. "Recently on the 8th to 11th of January, I was lucky enough to be a part of a team of athletes from all across Western Australia that travelled to Adelaide for the Australian Made Red Energy Foundation Cup. We got the opportunity to play all the other top athletes from rural and regional Australia. The competition had a really good ...team environment, we played mixed doubles, doubles and singles all counting towards point for our team. We all had team managers that were allowed to sit on the side and assists and guide us through our games. All of us that were competing stayed at the same college, travelled and ate together and it was good to get to know all the kids from the other states as well as the other kids on our team. A highlight was when world number 1 doubles team John Peers and Henri Kontinen payed a surprise visit to us. The New South Wales girls won the final against Northern Territory meanwhile our boys and girls teams both finished 7th. However, we won lots of games over the week and put up a fight against some of the strongest states. I’m very grateful for this opportunity to get the experience of travelling to another state and playing at a national level and this is something I will never forget." See more

22.01.2022 Congratulations Busselton Junior members Obie on winning the 12U doubles and Bridget on winning the 12U singles and runner up in the Doubles with Donnybrook partner, Hannah, at the Donnybrook Zone Tennis Tournament on Sunday. The tournament was well attended by Busselton Junior members.

14.01.2022 Wind up and presentations at the last Busselton Toyota GameFace for term 1, this Friday 13 April. Hamburgers $5 ea with juice box GameFace back in term 4.

12.01.2022 Toyota Game Face participants from the GMAS team used their Friday game training at the Country Schools Final Academy Plate Tournament in Perth 9/03/18. They came second to South Bunbury following a round robin against 7 country primary schools - GMAS, South Bunbury, Bunbury Cathedral Grammar, East Narrogin, Meckering, St Matthews, Hyden/Kondinin. Each player had 7 singles and 7 doubles matches. Fantastic tennis, amazing sportsmanship a great event sponsored by the D'Arcy Slater Foundation and Tennis West.
