14.01.2022 So we had some excitement here today.... a first time customer decided to wash their sleeping bag in the 6kg top loader machine [the reason was that "it was only a light weight sleeping bag"] which unfortunately became 25kg of wet mess ..... the outcome of this was 4 firefighters and an industrial extractor fan + 30 minutes to extract black smoke and smell from the premises AND an expected $450+ bill to the customer for a replacement belt. This is probably best case scenario..... Moral of the story customers.... DONT overload the machines.

Make sure your clothes are thoroughly dry and avoid wearing articles of clothing multiple times without washing Please practice physical [social] distancing if possible, please wait in your car: Top loading machines have a 30 minute wash cycle For the maxi wash, add approx. 10 minutes to your cycle of choice [we recommend the hottest possible] Dryers are $1 for 6 minutes of drying time please note that the last 1 minute is a cool down cycle, so if you think you will use more than $1 it is a better use of money to put $2 or more at the beginning rather than wait until the first $1 has been used.. We are disinfecting surfaces, door handles and machines several times daily The coins dispensed by our machine have been disinfected - it is highly recommended you use a quality hand sanitizer [or gloves] whilst outside of your own home. 02.01.2022 To all our valued customers, Please be advised that due to rising running costs it has been necessary to increase the prices on our machines. Effective 22nd May new prices will be as follows:... $5 per wash for top loader [previously $4] $1 per 6 minutes of drying time [previously $1 per 8 minutes] On average, you should allow for around $4 to dry one washer load There will be no change to the cost of our maxi-wash at this stage.
