Learner drivers will now have a maximum speed limit of 90km/h regardless of the maximum posted speed limit. This means the maximum speed limit will now be 90km/h, even in a 110km/h zone. This will allow learners to gain experience driving at faster speeds from the start of their licensing journey before progressing to solo driving. P1 li...cence holders will have a maximum speed limit of 100km/h regardless of the maximum posted speed limit. This means P1 drivers can now drive at 100km/h in a 100 km/h zone. P2 licence holders will continue to have no speed restrictions imposed on their licence. Motorcycle learner and P1 licence holders will continue to have a maximum speed limit of 80km/h.
