25.01.2022 I'd like to think that if there was a baby who was too young to be disciplined or to understand the concept of danger and they were pressing the red button to release the harness you surely would do something to correct this danger. You may not even realise they have pressed it hard enough to disengage it and all it would take is a quick turn or press of the brakes and out flies baby. There is a simple choice to make when you a facing this scenario: an injured baby and/or constant distracted driving OR to place a simple yet effective device over the button that takes 1 second to remove!

20.01.2022 FAQ: Q) Is the Buckle legal to use? A) Yes. It is 100% legal to use... Q) Does the Buckle Guard comply with Australian Standards? A) The standard for car restraints AS/NZS1754 is written for car restraints and the only other products that need to obey this standard are those that are sold in the box with the car restraint. A new standard has since been published, AS/NZS8002 which covers accessories for car restraints. I have been professionally informed that it is pointless to have the Buckle Guard tested as there are no means for it to be tested by and there is no way to certify it. It is essentially a parents choice as to whether they feel the need to use the Buckle Guard or not. With out any "formal" testing I can assure you that using the Buckle Guard is non invasive and extremely simple to remove in the case of an emergency. The risks however of travelling with a baby that has pressed the button to release the harness and is now travelling unrestrained are life threatening. If it goes unnoticed, simply applying pressure to the brakes or turning a corner can be dangerous. If the driver does notice the baby undoing the harness it causes driver anxiety and severe distraction which not only puts the baby at risk of harm but all road users around this vehicle.

20.01.2022 It is especially unsettling when Car Seat manufacturers have a specific Warning indicating that supervision is required of your baby while they are in their car seat as they may be able to unbuckle themselves. Do these companies provide said supervision or are we expected to drive while watching our babies at the same time? I don't get it! http://infasecure.com.au//CS4210-CS4310-INSTRUCTIONS-ISSUE

15.01.2022 Thank You Lauren. I’m glad that the Buckle Guard has supported you and your little one to travel safely in the car

09.01.2022 A tip to remember. Try to remember to take bulky clothes off bub before strapping them in the car seat. If it's that cold we would have heating on anyway. It is both dangerous and unnecessary Xx
