23.01.2022 Another WORKING BEE this Saturday October 10th at Dakkhina Dhammatthala, 79 Davis Ave, Christies Beach. The tidy up and cleaning is for our katthina Katthina Day October 18th. If you are able to please lend a hand for a few hours whenever you can during the day. The morning shift will stop for Dana offering and then continue afterwards in the afternoon. Please bring your own gloves or gardening gloves too. Thank you for your help.

18.01.2022 The Buddhist Society of SA has closed all formal programmes from this week in keeping with government guidelines and regulations concerning Covid-19. You may still bring Dana to Dakkhina Dhammatthala unless you are unwell as there are vulnerable people residing there. You can also offer distance Dana by donating to our account or shopping online for groceries to be delivered to DD. To keep our Dhamma family connected, we will be having live streaming chanting and guided meditations on Friday evenings at 7pm. This coming Friday will be Metta chanting. Please join us if you can by going to our. You Tube page The Buddhist Society of SA. May you all be well and safe and may your practice become stronger during this time of isolation.

18.01.2022 It is now just over two weeks to go until our Kathina celebration this year on October 18th. If you think at this stage that you would like to come, please let one of us know or put a message here. We still need to manage the numbers of people attending during this time. Thank you for your assistance and understanding. We also have working bees on the next two Saturdays at Dakkhina Dhammalthala to tidy the garden and to decorate. We appreciate any time you may be able to give us to lend a hand in the preparations. Thankyou.
