25.01.2022 This is "The Bud" with the latest news from Buddy's Bus Service. Due to health reasons it has been necessary to hand over the operation of Buddy's to the lovely Felicity Anderson (AKA Budette). She brings a terrific customer service ethic to the table as those who have dealt with her will know and she is a delight to do business with. Buddy's is now pretty well established with a large percentage of our repeat customers referring others to us. Needless to say our pre Chris...tmas period bordered on out of control and our start to the new year has been nothing short of staggering (like some of our customers). Weddings are ramping up with forward bookings well into the year as our lovely brides plan their magic day. 23.01.2022 We at Buddy's often get together for a chat about our business and at our last meeting one of our drivers made the point that seeing as though we are doing the footy run why don't we offer a similar service to the new Pakenham Racecourse. We already service a lot of Yarra Glen, Mornington Peninsular and the city races so it made a whole heap of sense. Our buses could leave Emerald, go down through Upper Beaconsfield, Beaconsfield, Officer and on to the track. The rate would b...e $20-00 per head each way. As those wonderful customers of ours know, we might be a small company but we are very flexible, so, any feedback, comments and ideas would be much appreciated. 23.01.2022 To all our customers. past.present and future. I have to advise you all that our Buddy Cab concept didn't work and as a result of that we are withdrawing that service from operation. While it met the reliability criteria, we couldn't make it cost effective for our clients. To offer a cab like service meant that we would need to have a bus sitting around waiting for a call and this proved to be too big a departure from our business model. To say that the wedding season is upon us is a major understatement. It is totally full on to the extent that we are hiring in extra buses to cope with demand. The Eagles concert at Hanging Rock is happening this coming weekend and promises to be a full on experience for our Buddy's trippers. Gotta go now. "The Bud"

23.01.2022 Just had to add this trip to our posts. These girls got in touch with us and asked if we could organise a picnic / wine tour day for a birthday celebration. We put together an itinerary for them and away we went. Our driver for the day was David who by the end of the day had practically undergone gender reassignment (note the blue hair) and qualified as a dance instructor. We took an airport luggage trailer along for all the picnic gear, yummies and wine purchases. The girls decorated the bus and had a great time. This is not the first time we have done these fun day trips and we enjoy it as much as do our wonderful customers. 22.01.2022 Weddings,wine tours and ship cruising are all full on at the moment and bookings continue to grow. "The Bud" is going in for some surgery shortly and will be out of action for a good while. Our service will not be affected and as stated in our previous post, the lovely Felicity will be looking after Buddy's and our wonderful customers. 21.01.2022 Hello to all our past, present and future trippers. Just a quick heads up on where we are at . As I said in my last post, weddings are the happening thing at the moment and it is a source of great satisfaction to participate in these wonderful occasions. Ship cruises are becoming really popular and Buddy's pier access accreditation is a great service feature as it means our cruisers are dropped off and picked up right at the boat instead of having to walk in from the street. ...Now for the serious part. As Buddy's continues to grow in the Yarra ranges and the Yarra valley it means we need to position a bus in the following areas; Kilsyth/ Wantirna or Emerald. 20.01.2022 This is "The Bud". We took a great group of go hard babes and guys to the groovin in Bendigo yesterday. These guys play hard and had a great day. Plenty of "rest stops" on the way with our city girls soon getting the hang of freeway bushes relief. Late night get home but well worth it.

19.01.2022 The cold spell has seen a lot of would be trippers staying home in front of the fire but bookings are starting to ramp up again. The big news is that we are moving a bus on to the Mornington peninsular. This is in response to the ever increasing enquiries coming from down there. The ship cruising season is coming up and already bookings are in place. Weddings are being planned and our guest transport service will be there to make sure everyone can have a good time and not hav...e to worry about getting home. It is a bit early yet but the Spring Racing Carnival will get going and we offer an excellent service for the keen punters. Concerts traditionally fire up early in the new year so if you see an act that you like, put a group of friends together and give us a call. 17.01.2022 Yesterday we went to our first Wedding Expo at Chateau Wyuna. To say that we were gob smacked is an understatement. The number of people that came to inspect the venue and talk with the wedding suppliers was incredible. The hospitality extended by Chateau Wyuna to their prospective brides and suppliers was first class and they are to be congratulated. 17.01.2022 Great news for the peninsular. We are right to go with our new driver Max looking after Buddy's Mornington Peninsular service. Our bus with luggage trailer will be located at Rye and will look after our valued patrons wanting to go tripping with Buddy's. Past history shows us that our service enjoys an excellent reputation for quality service delivery and this will carry over to this new venture. 14.01.2022 For Sale. Toyota Hi Ace Commuter diesel. We are offering our old school bus for sale. We can negotiate with the parents of our school run kids on behalf of the new owner. This is a great opportunity for someone to take on. The existing school run takes approximately 1 hour in the mornings and 1-1.5 hours in the afternoons. We would consider letting the new owner leave the bus sign written in Buddy's livery and using it as a fill in when we are really busy. We don't want a lot for the bus and it can be driven on a manual car licence.

13.01.2022 I have attached a photo of some Upper Beaconsfield ladies going out to celebrate a birthday. These girls are Buddy's Frequent Travellers. Cruise ship season is coming up and already bookings for Station Pier drop off and pick ups are coming through so if you want to go cruising give us a call. 10.01.2022 This is "The Bud" and I'm here to tell you that the winter blues are all but gone. Since my last post we have been doing a lot of weddings and work functions. The main wedding season is coming up and bookings are strong. Hens parties are all the go and don't you worry about these girls being the delicate shrinking violets of yesteryear.These girls go hard and turn into real weapons. We love taking them out and more importantly getting them safely home although this can sometimes be quite a challenge.

09.01.2022 Hey trippers, this is "the bud" with a brief "heads up" on what has been happening. Airport transfers are all the go at the moment as people head off to escape the winter cold. We had a fantastic group down on the Mornington peninsular last weekend and spent a whole day visiting wineries, distilleries, a cider place and a brewery. The day was closed off nicely with a visit to The Portsea Hotel. Concert enquiry is already happening for the coming season with bookings already ...in for the COLD CHISEL CONCERT at Hanging Rock on Saturday 21st of November. 09.01.2022 This is "the bud" with a bit of a news item for our terrific travellers. We at Buddy's have been supporters of Beyond Blue for a while now. We are currently in the process of making this a bit more obvious by putting donation tins in our buses. We think it is a very worthwhile cause and one we are happy to support. To our valued patrons (trippers) the tins are there (or should be shortly) if you would like to join us in the battle against depression.

08.01.2022 Just when we thought the Christmas party scene was finished we got the call from "Waves On The Beach" restaurant in Frankston. These guys were having their belated staff party and were headed out for a night on the town and I am here to tell you that the party spirit is definitely alive and well. By the way if you are looking for a top night out dining or organising a wedding you couldn't go past these folks. The restaurant location is picture perfect being right on the beach... and their food reviews are top notch. 08.01.2022 Every year sees these ladies??? from Colac go away for a "girl's weekend". This time it was our turn and we picked them up and returned them from their B&B in Olinda to Puffing Billy. It must have been the crisp mountain air or something because these demure ladylike girls turned into absolute go hards. I am sure that they had a great time. I know we did. 07.01.2022 Yesterday, we picked up some guys from Gembrook, Pakenham and cockatoo. We took them down to Cape Schank Golf course for a round of golf. We didn't have much trouble working out what sort of handicap they were on when we sighted the size of the esky being loaded onto the bus. Apparently the day went really well with the only downer being a substantial repair bill for a hire golf cart. 07.01.2022 It's footy time again and we will be going to the mighty MCG and Etihad Stadium for scheduled day and night matches. At this stage we will start in Emerald and travel down the hill, through Berwick and on to the game. We will be offering a return service as well. Ideally, it should suit people on that route that live not far from established pick up points like bus stops, hotel car parks etc.. Hopefully the take up on this service will be such that it proves to be viable. In ...the early stages we would need a minimum of 10 people to make it work. The rate will be $20-00 per head each way.
