25.01.2022 Day 40 Post- Big last 24 hours but got the walk done this morning under sufferance. cuz and seamus for dragging me around Wilston. Emotional but rewarding time with exercise not firmly incorporated into daily activities. Looking forward to my pool swim tomoz.



23.01.2022 Day 38 posted on day 39. Swam my 1 klm in the Buderim Pool yesterday. So good for my leg and lung capacity. Ate really well having Italian baked eggs for brekky and lamb cutlets with salad for dinner. Promised not to have any Pavlova but damn it, my slice was delish. U r supposed to be helping me, my beautiful partner. Sad day today heading to a Brisbane family funeral but very important to console and support your loved ones at important times. So no post for today. ... Looking forward to next month’s, Mitchell Creek Blues Festival @ Kandanga. This is my short term goal to power home on this challenge.

22.01.2022 Day 34 - Hey it’s good to be back home again. Loved my Buderim Village Day. Hit the pool for a 1 Klm swim in the morn and followed it up with a 4.6 klm walk (@ 6.2 klms p/hr) this arvo. Well done, Leah, we were clicking along. ... Eating really well too. This place feels like a long lost friend. Tragic John Denver fan, my apologies

21.01.2022 Day 21 - Almost halfway. I can smell it or is that my sweat . Obviously not if u go by my scales results today. A tad disappointing but only reinforces the change up needed in my program again. My body is easily coping with the current level. ... So what’s the solution? Longer, faster, leaner and cleaner. It is not rocket science burn more calories than you consume. So Mark, just do it . I’ve heard / seen this before. Chow 4 now.



21.01.2022 Day 27 - day 26 ended up a bit of a rest day. Life got in the way a bit, as it does and will continue to do. However back on track today. Another yummy chicken Caesar salad option. Who said, you can’t make friends with salads?... Your body loves all that green goodness doing it’s wonderful thang inside you. That’s my technical speak that it’s good for you. 4 weeks down tomoz and another weigh in.

21.01.2022 Milestone Day - No 25. Half way. It is all downhill from here, especially the weight. Thank you everyone for your encouragement but this journey is non negotiable. It must and will happen. It’s time to make magic happen again. ... You will not believe how good you will feel in less than 25 days time. I can’t wait.

19.01.2022 Day 28 - 4 weeks done . Tough week behind for many reasons. Scales reflected no weight loss for the past week. It happens . Time to focus ahead and a camping holiday @ Rainbow Beach. A chance to boot camp and catapult this weight loss. What I am trying to say is remain positive, see the positive, project positivity. What you put out there is likely what you get back. ... This week will be better for many reasons, wait and see. P.S. Did see a funny drop off sign in my walking travels. Doesn’t the stick figure of the kid, look like, he has been protestingly thrown feet first, school bag and all, out the front passenger window by his parent. Gives new meaning to Stop Drop and Go, I reckon but that could just be me.



18.01.2022 Back under kilos. . Returned to the gym and loving it. Actually really exciting news to be publicly announced next week regarding KRAM Fitness. Do the miles get the smiles .... Live your best life

17.01.2022 Well Day 50 came and went. I can’t deny I’m very disappointed with a 4.5 kg loss over the this period. Need to refine my program to make it saleable. Sometimes the best lessons are learnt in defeat rather than in success. An old footy analogy. I will sit down in coming days and review exercise and diet regimes. I am mindful that if it takes me another 50 days to reach goal weight then what’s all the fuss. Just do it. . Familiar slogan, I think it’s already taken. ... Thanks to all who came on the journey and provided support. Life is not always easy but tough times don’t last forever but tough people do.

17.01.2022 Day 41 - Back on track. 2 good little walks, 20 minute minimums, and a 1 klm swim Final 10 days ahead. 80% of the challenge behind me. Really important to eat as lean as possible. As you should have seen by now, it’s not rocket science, just hard work , being smart and dedicated to losing weight. ... It’s not easy but rewarding. Keep doing the miles, and you will keep getting the smiles , and the biggest smile might be your own. Live your best life.

16.01.2022 Day 37 - Rehab day. Pushed it, maybe, a little too hard and gave my calf a strain yesterday. Remember no excuses. Supported my mates spin cycle session and then I hit the Buderim pool for a lazy 1 klm swim . Great for recovery too. Weight loss is slow but continue the cardio and eating clean cos eventually your body will have no option but to shred. Stay positive. A loss is a loss.

15.01.2022 Day 32 - Rainbow Beach is turning it on deluxe. What a place to exercise and unwind. Return to normality tomoz but it is the mighty Sunshine Coast after all. Eating well but the scales will tell the full tale in coming days.



15.01.2022 Day 24 - Tough Day and sometimes life dictates you need to reflect and regroup. However moving will always help positively motivating you forward. Thanks everyone for your kind words and support. Plundered our another 9 klm walk day thanks to Leah to Will. ... Time to be very grateful for where we are and those that surround me. Tomorrow is officially halfway and it’s all downhill from there. Yay

15.01.2022 Day 20 - Freaky Friday. Get your cardio done before the weekend fires up. Incorporated a cracking Buderim Forest Park walk into our kitchen renovation day. ... Both getting closer to completion but sometimes I wish it would happen just a tad quicker.

13.01.2022 Day 23 / 50 - Big Day after rest day (D22). 3 walks totalling over 9 klms. Walked with layered clothing and a backpack , why? Cos I now can. 50 laps equating to 1.25 klm swim. ... Eating a variety of lean satisfying meals. Had Barramundi & Veges yesterday @ the Buderim Tavern and a huge salad bowl today for lunch. Benefits are being reaped because we are sowing the fitness seed. See what I did there.

13.01.2022 Day 46 - Fight night. No not domestically. Horn vs Tsyuz. Got my cardio done . Swim & walk. Eating beautifully. No need to cut weight tonight. Lamb roast and veges tonight. Found a lost teddy on my return. What’s a boy to do but make him comfy till his owner arrives. ... Feeling pretty awesome .

11.01.2022 Day 43 - 1 week to go. . Walking done for the weekend and treated myself to some prawns with Salsa Verde. Weight loss to slow and has been for 2 weeks now. Don’t be discouraged!!! ... We lose weight @ different rates & times. Persistence will eventually win out, I guarantee. Hence why I’m putting myself through this challenge. Big week ahead.

09.01.2022 Day 36 - I have delayed my weigh in a few days to let the weekend flogging to take effect. Loved the 5 klm charity run this morning. Well 4klm run and 1 klm walk (due to the right calf giving way). Ironically outside the Maroochy Surf Club, I still contend it was body telling me to stop and go inside for a ‘sharpie’. ... Lesson is - listen to your body or it will let you know. . I now what calf awareness is and I don’t like it. Hoping to back up tomoz for a spin cycle sesh with a mate. I have been upping the ante re cardio and I cannot stress enough that you have to increase your load gradually. Congratulations Lisa on a 6 minute PB over 5 Klms. Insane to be moving over a minute faster per kilometre. On fire . How good is a Qld winter Sunday.

08.01.2022 Day 31 - magnificent Rainbow Beach. Big morning 10 plus klms walked thus far and eating beautifully healthy camp food. More walking this arvo. Yesterday’s walking was more like strolling but 30 mins done . Catch ya all tomoz.

07.01.2022 What a great place for a morning walk, release some toxics and to continue your fitness march forward. Incorporate cardio exercise into your daily life and it will become routine and easy. Sea air, Fraser Coast view, flat and coffee and brunch places galore. Blessed

06.01.2022 Day 33 - Back on the Sunny Coast. Got my walk done in between unpacking and dropping off my camper trailer. Walked my mate’s horses for 30 minutes on top and was given this wonderful box of citrus and chillies . Perfect food for the final 1/3 of the program. ... Time to push the body harder, I Have said yes to a couple of ‘fun runs’, which are great motivators and a chance to unleash some competitive juices. Thanks again to all that are supporting me and living the healthy dream.

05.01.2022 Day 48 Post - and now there is just this weekend. Great cardio day 10 plus kilometres travelled and ate as clean as a whistle. Even after attending the local tavern How can you go wrong with golden band snapper and veges, perhaps not having the dill hollandaise sauce. Geez a guy has to live tho. You can tell by the tone of this post that I’m full of energy, up and about. Go Roos - do what the Hawks couldn’t do and WIN.... WIN is a great acronym standing for What’s Important Now. I’ll leave you to ponder that for one selves. Chow for now.

01.01.2022 Day 47 - and then there was 3 days to go. So is winter almost gone. Doing this challenge @ this time brings the beach bod into calculations. Good swim and walk today. We are more than half way to looking fab. ... Just like the fight last night, sometimes u r on top and sometimes it’s a massive grind. Came home last night to a crazy surprise. I have not seen Big Ted since my ‘Play School’ Days. If he is not picked up too soon you might see big ted, ‘doing his thang’ with littler Mark.
