10.01.2022 It’s always a wonderful moment to see our patients walk out the door with a big wave, a smile and a thank you, Karen, Registered Nurse. Part of three generations of nurses in her family, Karen always wanted to be a nurse but only decided to fulfill her lifelong dream after feeling uninspired in her previous job. I think I always wanted to help people and once I completed my Enrolled Nurse qualification and started working in the profession, it straight away fueled my ambit...ion to continue my studies to become a Registered Nurse, she said. Treating every patient as an individual is very important to me - we must never forget that for our patients being in hospital is often a new, mysterious and sometimes scary experience, so offering understanding and reassurance is absolutely crucial. I love working on Ward 4B which has a wonderful team of nurses with varied backgrounds who are happy to share their knowledge and support each other. #buderimprivatehospital #YearoftheNurse
