25.01.2022 For those of us moving house in 2020, the process has been hugely complicated by COVID. Navigating border closures, quarantine and isolation periods has made moving house a tricky thing to do. The good news is; our service has been, and is still, operating as per usual. As our containers are transported by the rail network and classified as freight there is no change to the way we operate other than contact-free deliveries and pick ups being in place, where needed. If you need to move house before Christmas, get in quick, it's an incredibly busy moving season and spots are filling up fast!

25.01.2022 SIDE-LOADER Generally we use tilt tray trucks for most of our residential container deliveries; they are better suited to placing containers on driveways and in smaller spaces. Occasionally though, if a container is either overweight or the site requires it, we will use a side loading truck to deliver our moving containers. This is one of our containers in Brisbane being delivered by MT Movers. 23.01.2022 COVID Update - we are operating as per usual in Western Australia under the current lock-down. Our office is still fully operational and you can contact us by the normal channels. Container delivery and pickups have a no contact delivery process and masks are mandatory as per the guidelines issued by the WA Government.

18.01.2022 Delivery of a 20ft HC shipping container by tilt tray truck Our default method of delivering our removalist spec high cube containers to and from your moving addresses is by tilt tray truck. As you can see from the image below, the height of the container when on the tray of the truck is significant. The truck will require a minimum of 4.5 metres of height clearance when delivering a container this way. Some of the common obstacles we encounter are low lying overhead cabl...es and low tree branches. There are nearly always different options to make the delivery work for you though, we're happy to chat through these if you are considering an interstate container move but are not sure if a container can be delivered at your address. When we assess your address online to check if a container can be delivered to your property, we are always checking the height of the eaves (or in this case, a veranda), if they overhang the driveway. Spoiler alert - the image below is actually two of our 20ft HC shipping containers being transported from the freight terminal in Perth, WA. Some of our customers who have a larger amount to move will go with using two containers over a 40ft.
