Not sure how that worked out b...ut we don't today so - probably not well. What you see are not the flowers but the seeds. They put on a good show late winter, early spring. This is a beachscrub early coloniser, a small tree with a 'live fast die young' attitude like a wattle. Provides food for various birds and butterflies and had medicinal use for Original Australians.
