A qualified carpenter since he left school, Kim has spent the past four years working as a Foreperson for QBuild. He’s worked at the Woodford Correctional Centre and is currently managing the construction of a new Cannon Hill social housing development which includes 20 one-bedroom units. ... An interesting aspect of this build, he says, is the post tensioning technique used to reinforce the concrete instead of the practice of steel reinforcing used for a conventional slab.
