Private residential property inspections will be permitted from tomorrow, Monday 28th September.... Private inspections are allowed with one agent and one prospective purchaser The prospective purchaser may be accompanied by one other person from an existing household Appointments must be pre-arranged for a set time and limited to 15 minutes. A person is not permitted to travel to regional Victoria for a private property inspection A person may not travel to metropolitan Melbourne for a private property inspection from Regional Victoria Public auctions are still to be conducted online.

"Different banks offer different products and interest rates, they all also have different lending criteria meaning being able to qualify for a home loan with Lender "A" may be more difficult than qualifying with Lender "B". It all comes down to the individual financial circumstances of each applicant - which the Broker must first have a thorou...gh understanding of so the Broker can then recommend not only the best rates and products but also recommend lenders who you have the best chance of being approved with. A Broker can provide the borrower with a lot more options as opposed to someone just walking into a bank branch and only being offered products that particular bank can provide. Once the decision has been made for the lender and product, the Broker will then present and submit a home application to the chosen lender on the borrower's behalf and ensure all minimum requirements are met. There is a lot more to what a Broker does but I guess you could say that the above are the fundamentals."
