All visitors will be denied en...try except for rare exemptions and returning Queenslanders will have to pay for 14 days mandatory hotel quarantine. Queenslands Chief Health Officer has declared all of New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory as hotspots. Only residents of border communities and essential workers, such as truck drivers, will be able to cross the border. Exemptions including for compassionate reasons will be limited. Passes for border communities will be for those with proof of address and photo ID. The border closure will be reviewed at the end of the month. #covid19au

08.01.2022 Good afternoon followers, we have a major snow event to sweep through Eastern Australia this week. Icy cold winds & snow is expected widespread across the Regio...n & the Ranges of NSW. Winds are also be a factor with blizzard conditions to some locations. With recent rains the ground is soft & this could result in trees coming down at anytime, so if you are camping under these conditions please play it safe. Roads can also be closed at short notice, with Black ice possible on road surfaces. We have a number of admins live in these areas with the arrows & that are tracking to these areas & will report on current conditions. We cant stop people from going to these areas, however we can give safely advice, please make sure you have suitable clothing & plenty of blankets. Make sure you have plenty of food incase you get stranded. Please stay snow safe & if you drive on unsealed roads we advise to only travel in a 4wd vehicle. Last time i was at Hanging Rock in snowy conditions i saw a number of people acting like fools on trail bike & 4wds doing circle work.
