24.01.2022 Volunteers from B4C and Belong Community ventured further afield and teamed up with Kooralbyn locals for a fun weekend planting event.

24.01.2022 Such a valuable partnership and plan for the local environment and community. Thanks Port of Brisbane!

24.01.2022 A little snapshot from the Whites Hill Bushwalk on Sunday. Five koalas were among the morning's sightings! This page lists when and where the meeting spot is for our next Whites Hill bushwalks. https://bulimbacreek.org.au/event/whites-hill-bushwalks/

22.01.2022 Introducing the "Dave" range. Set of 3 upcycled bags ready for swimming gear, change of clothes or to keep in the car for when you to pop to the shops. Why not give as a gift bag or the gift itself. More "Dave" sets coming soon. Made by our hardworking Boomerang Bags crew. https://bulimbacreek.org.au/shop/boomerang-bags/dave-trio/

20.01.2022 We had a great morning at our regular working bee. Seven Mackenzie Bushcare Group members toiled tirelessly (and chatted a bit!) while removing all the visible... Arrowhead vine infestation in the Mt Petrie Road Reserve. Great work team and next Working Bee we get to plant shrubs and trees! Something to look forward to and put in the diary. 18.01.2022 Thanks to the Brisbane City Council Environment Grant for providing the funding for this project. It's great to be doing this work with a new catchment group. It's the first step for natural rehabilitation to happen at this site. Keep your eye out for a community planting there early next year!

08.01.2022 Deloitte volunteers at Gibson Island A great team of active corporate volunteers escaped the office for the sunny shores of Aquarium Passage on Gibson Island today. B4C’s Mike Haslett led a team of four B4C crew who also joined in a planting, mulching, weeding and rubbish removal on the further eastern front of our battle with weeds. This is heading eastwards along the Aquarium Passage.... Deloitte are motivated and keen to work with B4C for future Industrial Landcare. We thank them for bringing their enthusiasm to our project. We've now established 6,385 native plants and habitat and attracted 863 volunteers over the 33 months from the start of the project. The Gibson Island Rehabilitation Project works to rehabilitate and revegetate 6.5ha of riparian vegetation in an open estuary to the Brisbane River.

07.01.2022 We are very happy to now be officially announcing this exciting project! We're extremely grateful to Urban Utilities for making it possible and to the B4C volunteers and staff who have been working hard and enthusiastically on it over recent months. Lots more soon...

07.01.2022 Thanks to Ocean Crusaders for their hard work in and around our waterways!

06.01.2022 Join Ben for bushcare this Sunday! All welcome.

04.01.2022 Thanks for your continued support, Powerlink! #industriallandcare

04.01.2022 We look forward to welcoming you! Please RSVP for catering and our COVID-safe plan.

04.01.2022 Thanks to everyone who joined us at our planting event on Wednesday at Gibson Island! And a special thanks to the event sponsors APA Group and Incitec Pivot Limited. Around 50 people participated, including our industrial landcare partners and community members. It was great to be able to catch up with so many of you. Over 360 plants were established, helping to increase habitat, biodiversity and landscape amenity in the area. And it brings us to 6,235 put in the ground there... since the start of the project. This event was going to be held in April to coincide with our second year anniversary of the Gibson Island Rehabilitation Project launch, but due to COVID-19 was cancelled. This event was held in accordance with our COVID-safe plan. Our next event will be announced shortly, we're currently looking at it being no later than early November.

03.01.2022 Take a peek inside this nest box! At Raymond Rd, Eight Mile Plains. Thanks to support from the Community Sustainability Grant (QLD Dept of Environment & Science) and our monitoring crew.

03.01.2022 Hope you can attend the launch with other butterfly lovers over at the Cubberla-Witton Catchments Network hub in Chapel Hill. B4C will soon be announcing its first BBBC activity!
