So committed to her clients that she had to miss the festival to attend to business on a Sunday. We missed you Shannon.

05.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who came along and enjoyed a fantastic day of crazy, tropical uke fun. Nobody should be afraid of asking for feedback. It is not done enough in business today. Introspection and peer review is the only way to improve. If you would like to leave a review for the festival, please do so via this page. ... Before you write your review, please bear in mind these points: The festival is organised by Sandra Beynon of Body and Soul Australia - Music and Events which consists of one person with a limited budget and one sponsor, the generous Shannon Harvey of Place Bulimba. Sandra Beynon PR also managed the PR and social media posts in the lead-up Sandra Beynon Vocalist was the MC and gave everything to the day, having had just 5 hours sleep the night before due to a performance with Sean Mullen Guitar. The festival focus is on inclusion, engagement and providing a supportive environment for amateur groups. The festival has as limited budget for professional artists but seeks to have a good balance - The festival sound technician, Sean Mullen Guitar is not a professional sound technician, and kindly donates his PA equipment for use on the day. Sean, had two stages to look after, was a volunteer and also the husband of the organiser, as well as a performing artist - so he really tried his hardest to do a great job for everyone, and when people arrive on the day with certain demands that they havent advised us of prior to the event, he cannot be a magician. He also played a gig the night before and got 5 hours sleep ;) - the festival supports a charity - all care was taken to provide the best of care for all performers - all workshops were FREE and run by volunteers. The venue was unable to supply a separate, closed-off room for workshops, so were sorry if there was a bit of noise. We at BUF love the idea of putting on a festival thats raw, earthy, fun and are looking forward to future BUF! Now, go write an honest, encouraging and supportively critical review please so we can create an even better BUF. Thank you!
