25.01.2022 Hi Guys Hope everyone is keeping sane and safe these days . I don’t think it will be long until we will be able to fish with the reports I hope . 25.01.2022 Hi Fisho’s I snuck out a few weeks ago and it didn’t disappoint . A few hours on the Goulburn that was running pretty fast but the Bullets produced as always and 8 fish with the big Rainbow hen of 65cm and 6.5lb . She made the trip short as she swallowed the lure deep and took of down stream pulling the lure and ripping her Gill and bleeding out which I was gutted about . I have caught about 10 of these big fish since there release in all parts of the river and there doing ...fine which is great to see and all released without a problem beside this big girl unfortunately. There were a mix of Browns and rainbows for the morning on the Yellow pearl and the Spawning Rainbow. I must say It’s also good to see the rains back and if they keep up we will have a ripper few seasons ahead of us . Thanks to the Fishos who send me picks and your stories I will post some of them up soon . Cheers Jason

25.01.2022 Happy New 2020 Year for tomorrow Fishos Hope everyone is safe from all the fires also . New website will be up in the new year and like everyone else I will be a full online store . I have apparel that will be for sale on the website .... Long sleeve 100% Cotton shirts , short sleeved shirts , tournament tops , Hoodies , stubbie Holders , caps ,Bucket Hats , Gloves , Stickers and track pants coming soon also . They all have the Bullet lures Logo and are awsome looking . I will do another post soon and let everyone know when the online website is live . Well this is the first trip chasing the freshwater Grouper and the last for the year . 2 Cod and one hungry Redfin ! Killshot 60Five keeps producing . I can’t post the release videos on here of the cod with pictures for some reason . Also I was testing a surface lure and the 8cm Minnow Diver model I will show soon . 24.01.2022 Well what can I say but another great session on the Bullets and many quality fish also in the one session . Me and the Brother-in-law caught up and fished till lunchtime on Saturday . The river had a little color and how I like it . We lost count of how many fish were caught and released but the size of most were the best we have ever caught in a single session . Also by the looks many have already spawned as a couple were slabby for there length .... Was a great morning and all fish released as usual ! My brother-in-law was using the 3cm model and work best for him as it cut through the weedy areas he fished much easier without fouling up and landed 3 crackers on it and many smaller models . I used the Five-0 Minnow and caught a couple nice ones including this beautiful Rainbow also and a mix of smaller models. Spawning Brown and Spawning Rainbow colors done all the damage as usual for this time of year ! Here are some of the fish we caught . Every fish was released and that’s how we roll as we can go back to our spots and always catch fish . Cheers Jason

22.01.2022 Hi Guys Well it’s been a tough year and hope this is all over soon . I have been living up Seymour with family and as soon as the restrictions were eased I shot out for a fish on the river . Had a good morning with 6 fish and 3 were Big Rainbows that had obviously been restocked from fisheries . One of the Rainbows was over 13 lb and 75cm so another PB for me and the Bullets . The other 2 were 5 and 8 lb and 3 wild fish and you knew when you hook the wild ones . I have anot...her couple new colors and still working on new models . I will do another post soon . Oh and be careful of the magpies they hurt lol . All fish were released as usual . See more

19.01.2022 Hi Fisho’s Good news we can fish now and I didn’t even think twice . So I shot out till about lunchtime the first day we were allowed and I landed many fish . The best fish was the nice Brown Buck and on the first cast using the Spawning Brown color sinking Five-0 Minnow and the best color to use this time of year as why I named it . Just remember Bullet Lures are designed by me with many years and a lot of money and hours put in to them and not a copied Lure repackaged as... you see more of these days . Hope to have a couple more new models out this year if all this clears up and goes to plan . Just hope to get out a few more times before closing . All fish released as usual . See more

15.01.2022 Hi Fisho’s Well what a crazy year it’s been ! Now at least we are going back to how it was . On a good note I am hoping to have all my colors and models I am out of back in December also adding 5 new colors and tweaked a few original ones . When I get pictures of them all together I will post up another time .... 05.01.2022 You got to love getting customers onto fish . Hi Jason, You are a genius!!! I used the Yellow Pearl as you suggested & it was a ripper. The Acheron was pumping & discoloured but the Bullet lure was a pearler with 5 rainbows in the 35-41 cm range & 5 smaller browns on Sunday. Labour Day long weekend plans were thrown into disarray with 60mm of rain falling at Buxton on Thursday, sending my favourite Acheron into a torrent of coke like water. "Don't worry, use the yellow pearl... colour Bullet" said Jason the wise man. Walking downstream from our rental, the second pool gave up a 41cm rainbow who agreed with Jason & smashed the lure before launching downstream. The next few hours saw another 4 rainbows in the 35-40cm range & 5 beautifully marked brown trout attack the yellow pearl with vigour making for a great early afternoon session in the less than ideal river conditions. Thanks for the report and pics David much appreciated mate !!!

04.01.2022 Hi Guys Well some sad news today as our Most dedicated Team Bullet Lures Member and close mate Sam Hill was Laid to rest . It was a big shock when I got the phone call as this young man had taken his own life at 21 years old and with such a big future ahead of him . Sam had so much dedication to fishing and our team he would always check the place we were fishing well before we all went up and found the best camping spot . Sam and a couple of the boys were the ones that al...ways got us in to the wins of the last 2 comps we won up at dart mouth and always the first on the water ever morning . Sam actually designed a color a couple years ago for me to bring out and because of his commitment to fishing with the team and for all he done with testing it I told him I will make his color for him which he was super exited about . Now I get asked all the time but this is the only time I had said yes to anyone as he deserved it . Sam would do anything for anyone and always looked up to us older blokes and you could see he loved us as much as we loved him especially for his enthusiasm for fishing like us and being so dedicated to it . Fishing the competition will never be the same without Sam but also will never be forgotten as his Lure the ( Cudge Frog ) will live in his legacy . Condolences to James and Elise Hill and His little Brother Jake also the rest of the family and I thank you for having such an amazing young man that I had the pleasure of fishing with and knowing him for the rest of my life ! Now I say this to everyone out there no matter what your going through in life there are always family and friends around you and love you no matter what . Don’t bottle it all up just speak to someone if your having a tough time it really helps . Also My phone is always on 24/7 if anyone needs to talk . It’s ok not to be ok .
