02.01.2022 Recently asked questions relating to funeral services and the Greenway Chapel and Memorial Park. Is the cemetery still open? Yes, the grounds of the cemetery are open from Sunrise to sunset, 7 days per week. The main office is located onsite, Open Monday Friday 8.30am 4.30pm... Can people still attend funerals? Yes, the NSW Government Public Health Order mandates one person per 4 square meter rule (chapels, café/function rooms/ burials and internments). All attendees must maintain the safe social distance from one another and practise good hygiene. The order is legally enforceable. NSW Police will apply fines for corporations and individuals that do not comply, including funerals. Live Streaming We offer a complimentary live streaming service for families to view the services that they are unable to attend due to travel/distance or attendance numbers. Visit the website to view Watch Live Stream. Should you be unavailable at that time of service, we provide a Watch the Service Recording option online for 2 weeks from the date of service. Visit www.palmdalegroup.com.au Scheduled Funeral Services Can I have a wake? Yes, the function centre is open and available for wakes and functions. Social distancing rules apply. To speak with the catering team phone 02 43621203. Are there flowers available onsite? Yes, the function centre/café has floral options available for purchase. How are we protecting visitors to the park and offices? Public safety and the safety of our staff is of the highest priority. We are cleaning chapels before and after service with hospital grade disinfectant, as well as having hand sanitiser on hand at all chapels, offices spaces and the function centre rooms. Social distancing is our best line of defence, and we request that all visitors on site respect the health of all. Why we need your details when attending a gathering? A record of attendance is required to be completed at all services, family placements, and gatherings within our parks. Your details: Name, address, and email and contact phone numbers are required. We ensure the information recorded is held for 28 days from service date, and is stored confidentially and securely and only used for the purpose of tracing COVID-19 infections. Upon request, it may be provide to the information to the Chief Health Officer.
