18.01.2022 PLEASE NOTE: This alert has been updated. See www.emergency.wa.gov.au for the latest information. Bushfire WATCH AND ACT for parts of BULLSBROOK in CITY OF SWA...N Publication time: 11:04 AM, 12/12/19. A bushfire WATCH AND ACT has been issued for people in an area bounded by North Avenue, Kimberley Street and Great Northern Highway in BULLSBROOK in CITY OF SWAN. There is a possible threat to lives and homes as a fire is approaching in the area and conditions are changing. WHAT TO DO If you are not prepared or you plan to leave, leave now if the way is clear. Close all doors and windows and turn off evaporative air conditioners, but keep water running through the system if possible. If you are well prepared and plan to actively defend your home, make final preparations now. If you plan to stay and actively defend, do not rely on mains water pressure as it may be affected. You need to have access to an independent water supply, and start patrolling your property to put out spot fires. If you are not at home, do not try to return as conditions in the area could be very dangerous. --- AND --- A bushfire ADVICE has been issued for people to the east of Railway Parade and west of the Watch and Act area in BULLSBROOK in CITY OF SWAN There is no threat to lives or homes. There is a lot of smoke in the area. Although there is no immediate danger you need to be aware and keep up to date in case the situation changes. --- BUSHFIRE BEHAVIOUR - The bushfire is moving fast in a westerly direction. - It is out of control and unpredictable. ROAD CLOSURES AND CONDITIONS Avoid the area and be aware of fire and emergency services personnel working on site. A number of roads have been closed including: - Great Northern Highway in both directions at North Avenue Motorists are asked to avoid the area, reduce speed and drive carefully due to smoke. Road information may also be available from Main Roads WA by calling 138 138 or visiting www.mainroads.wa.gov.au OR CITY OF SWAN. WHAT FIREFIGHTERS ARE DOING - Firefighters are on the scene, actively fighting the fire. - Aerial support has been sent to assist ground crews. DRONES AND AERIAL SUPPORT Never fly a drone, model aircraft or multirotor near bushfires. Doing so poses a major safety risk to firefighting personnel in the air and on the ground, and forces aircraft to be grounded or redirected, hindering firefighting efforts. Find out more information on the Emergency WA website: https://www.emergency.wa.gov.au/

18.01.2022 Seems to be what a lot of small businesses are doing at the moment to ensure that our clients feel at ease about having tradespeople in their homes or businesses at this difficult time. Here goes...... Our disclaimer: As we are a company that provides a service to others, we would like to make our statement in regards to our protocol for Coronavirus Covid19.... We practice good hygiene. Our vehicles are equipped with hand sanitizer & hand wash. We have also implemented covid specific hygiene procedures. For the details on this, please ask when booking (personally I carry a big can of Glen20 with me if I’m unsure) We are also advising to limit personal contact such as handshakes and maintain safe distances and practice ‘social distancing’ for everyone’s safety and concern. Also, we have not been or intend to go interstate or overseas now or in the foreseeable future. Our travels for jobs throughout WA are mostly done by car. Our guys have been advised to stay home if they feel unwell and we will follow the health departments guidelines. We will ask you to disclose to us when booking a job -if you have travelled overseas recently -if you are feeling unwell -if you or your family have been in contact with someone showing symptoms of the Coronavirus. Our main focus is to ensure the safety of our staff and customers, as well as our families, as we continue to provide services to our locals. .....and most importantly I’d like to add, we are still open for business!! Any enquiries or to book a job, please don’t hesitate to call me on 0409 SPARKI (772 754) and we can sort you out. Thanks Ray and Team Bullsbrook Electrical

17.01.2022 Does everyone know what CTF is and what they do? I was surprised to find out the great support they offer construction working, trade based businesses by way of... training subsidies, grants and employer incentives for apprentices and other employees. Subject to eligibility you could get full funding to up-skill your apprentice or workers with courses like HR, EWP, forklift, riggers, senior first aid to name a few. Comment below if you would like to know more and we will put you in contact with their support team . . . #tradiehq #perthtradies #smallbusinessperth #coworkingperth #tradie @constructiontrainingfund @perthonemanbanders #constructionperth See more

16.01.2022 OK. Nearly time to put on a new Electrical Apprentice. Can anyone out there recommend a young, hard working, punctual and respectful male or female that aspires to be an Electrician. Would prefer local person, with either electrical work experience or has completed a pre apprenticeship. Mostly work is around Bullsbrook and surrounds but we do also go to the Pilbara regularly. Needs to have drivers license and own transport is a must. Part of our company is Air Conditioning and some Property Maintenance therefore there is a large variety of work we do. If this sounds like you or you know of someone, please call Ray on 0409 SPARKI (772 754) for a chat.

04.01.2022 Hi All. We are currently working on some small construction projects throughout the Wheatbelt and Great Southern and have put all our resources into that so we won’t be servicing the local area until about the start of October. We are still taking bookings for after that and can also point you in the right direction to another couple of local Sparki’s if you give us a call. Thanks for your patience and look forward to servicing you all again soon. Ray Bullsbrook Electrical.
