24.01.2022 Just to let you know, Easts beat GPS on Sunday 29/26 so it’s a Norths v Easts GF. If we had have beaten Norths yesterday we would have had a real crack at the title!! Oh well...spilt milk. Cheers for the season boys! It’s been fun and a real pleasure to have part of this great team. We still have the March and flag thing this Saturday as well as presentation the following Friday. More details to come. Thanks.

23.01.2022 Hi All, hope holidays are going well. This weekend the club has a massive opportunity to man the carpark and run a food tent at the Kokoda Challenge Finish line at the velodrome in Nerang. This is a fantastic opportunity for fundraising for the club. If you are able to give us an hour or 2 to help would be great. We have to man from 3pm on Saturday arvo right through until Sunday night (approx 30 or more hours). If you could spare a couple of hours can you let me know times you would be available. Thanks!

21.01.2022 Unlucky today boys. Those who were there gave it there all but it’s sad to say, that’s the season over for another year. I’d like to take the opportunity to thank Bushy Cameron Herbert and Aaron Konia for stepping up to take on the tough job of Coaching a team that was put together, just this year, to win the Premiership in the 1st season which was a massive feat! Then Aaron, Lincoln and Sam doing their best in the Second Season to come oh so close! We lost a lot of players... due to injury and other commitments in the Second season but the players who stuck it out gave it their all. Thanks to all the parents to their commitment and support of the boys. Thanks to the Bond and Surfers boys who joined the team to help make it what it was. 2019 is unknown at this point in time but we will see and I can keep you posted. If you are doing the flag duties next week at the Wallabies game, I’ll keep you posted as I know more. Thanks everyone and we hope you enjoyed your Rugby in 2018! 15.01.2022 No training tonight as heaps are away with Confro and Rep duties. Cheers and good luck to the boys representing the GC at the State Champs tomorrow and this weekend! Kick ass boys! We hope to see you guys announced in the QLD Country team after taking out the tournament!!

10.01.2022 Hey Guys. This is a message for the boys who are U17 this year. The combined Surfers/Nerang team are looking for 17 yo to play in the U16/17 comp this year. If you are keen, comment or contact me and I can give you their contact details. They are training at Surfers, this Friday 5.30pm - 6.45pm. Cheers. Dion

09.01.2022 Tough day at the office boys. GPS had 20 so they could use fresh legs, whilst we only had 15 there today. With Captain Courageous Nick going down and a yellow card, we played a fair bit of the game 14 on 15. We have our final round next Sunday in a must win V Easts. We need everyone available at training and the games each week if we are going to have any chance of taking out the flag again. If you can not make training or a game, we need to know so the coaches can adjust. We... had 27 players at the Grand Final in the first season which was only 6 weeks ago and now we struggle to get players to training and 15 to the games. Apart from a few injuries, we should be seeing 18-22 at the games but we aren’t unfortunately. There are only a few weeks left so we hope to see you all back at training so we can run the plays and get everyone on the same page. We want to play on the main field at Ballymore in the GF bit without everyone’s commitment, we won’t get there. Our thoughts are with our captain, Nick Harrex for a speedy recovery but unfortunately, he won’t be on the paddock again this season. He is a big loss so everyone needs to step up and commit as we need to fill a big hole with him being injured. Thanks everyone. Dion See more

07.01.2022 Hi all. Training starts back this Tues and Thurs, 6pm but this Thursday is the game V Crossley with 6.15pm kick off. Will get to the Bulls around 5.15pm. You should all still have your playing jersey which you will need to remember to bring. Please let me know if you are Unavailable to play, this Thursday night. Apparently, the rounds are starting on Sunday 29/7 for the Brisbane comp and I need to find out about when Xtreme starts. Cheers. Dion

06.01.2022 Hi All, Photos tomorrow night. Our scheduled time is 6.20pm. Please wear Bulls game shorts and socks. Also, our kick off time this Sunday is earlier than usual at 10.20am at GPS Ashgrove - Yoku Rd, Ashgrove. Please be there before 9.30am on Sunday. According to maps, it's about 1/1.15 away so allow enough time to get there by leaving home around 8am. Thanks! Dion

05.01.2022 Hi all. Sorry for the late notice. We are looking at doing a BBQ after the game on Sunday. We are asking you to comment if you can bring something to contribute? Maybe a salad, dessert or something. The club will supply the meat and rolls/bread. It will be a good way to get to know each other a bit and relax in a social setting. Nothing formal, just a relaxing hour or two after the game. Comment below if you can bring something so we don’t double up or have too much!! Game time is 12.20 so please be there at 11.20am. Thanks!
