20.01.2022 Scooters, cars and bikes may not be ridden/driven on the roads adjacent to the competition arenas between 7am and end of competition for the day. Helmets must be worn at all times. Parents please note; the Showground committee has advised us there will be heavy vehicle traffic around the pavilions this weekend due to other events running.

03.01.2022 Well that’s a wrap for me.....Teams Showjumping done & dusted for 2019. I have met so many people & made lifelong friends while organising this event. I’ve seen many events won & lost. I believe Alan Hession would be proud of the achievements reached, the sportsmanship displayed & the friendships forged! A massive thank you to the organising committee both past & present.....Lisa Holland, Tracy Salter, Tonia Murtagh, Rachel Bowen, Sonia Law, Ange Cox, Sharon Johnston Becky J...efferies & Cathy Magick. Together we’ve run a fantastic event. Thank you Zone 26 & especially Ken Jensen & Chris Hall. You are both legends of pony club & I salute your dedication to this event. Thank you Steph & the Sandale Saddlery team for believing in us & supporting this event for the last 4 years. You are an extremely generous sponsor. Thank you Margie in the PCQ office for your help every year. Thank you to all our officials & medics....Ken Jensen, Kerry Henderson, Ann Jensen, Geoff Langbecker, Angus Graham, Renz, Amelia Starkey, Dave Strathdee, Barry Brunke, Cheryl Brunke, Lyndal Roos, Guy Creighton, John Warren, Kev Walsh, Danny Marr, Chris Hall, Wayne Lashmar & Joy Lashmar. You are a fantastic group to work with. Thank you to every person that has helped. Whether it be a team manager, gear checker, gate opener, a rail steward, stable opener, stable inspector, worked in the canteen or you helped clean up. All of you made this event happen. Thank you to our canteen ladies Lyn & Kylie Tegan, Tracy Riddell & Cathy Magick. Delicious food & wonderful people! Thank you to the families who support this event every year. We organise teams with the hope that riders will embrace the team spirit & you all have. Walking around the grounds at any given moment we hear laughter, encouragement & cheering. We watch football games, hide & seek, spotlight & many more games. We see riders from different zones embracing each other & we hear them commiserating over a day that didn’t go to plan or congratulating someone on a great round. Lastly I say a massive thank you to my family. My husband Rob does not stop from Friday morning till Sunday night making sure arenas are raked & watered, courses are built & the grounds are left tidy. My kids have filled any role I have asked of them. They have ridden, team managed, pencilled, judged, built courses, run errands, stood up to people who are doing the wrong thing, fed themselves & their horses. They’ve picked up other people’s rubbish, horse poo & cleaned dirty stables. They’ve made me very proud. Start planning those teams because teams 2020 is sure to be bigger & better. Cheers, Maddie Graham
