18.01.2022 Hi Everyone. First and foremost we hope each of you and your families are staying safe and well. We're sure you're keen to hear more of what yesterday's announc...ements mean for cricket so we want to provide a few reassurances. Cricket Victoria representatives are meeting with Sport & Recreation Victoria and VicSport today. A key consideration is how the latest restrictions determine the roadmap for a return to cricket (including training, wicket preparation, use of masks and travel restrictions). As you can appreciate, we want to make sure that any advice and guidelines coming from Cricket Victoria are correct. Please be assured that when we have clear information regarding the possible return to training and playing cricket, we will pass it on as urgently as possible. We expect to be able to provide an update to you in the coming days. We will also look to run further webinars for clubs, association and LGA's to reflect any updates. Please keep an eye on here and sign up to our Club & Association newsletter if you haven't already at https://www.cricketvictoria.com.au//club-association-news/. These will be your best sources of updates regarding the above.
18.01.2022 With footy now all but finished, the weather becoming cricket friendly and plans being made for the season to start it's time to get the cricket gear out. Check out our page on Tuesday's and Thursday's for cricket skills & drills to do at home so we're ready to go when we get out. Get your family and friends (from their homes) on board and have a bit of fun. Check back Thursday for our first challenge.

08.01.2022 Today’s skill is just a simple bowling drill. The drill aims to improve your approach to the crease and maximise height. This can be done using a ball or without a ball whichever you prefer. You will need cones or something similar that you are stepping over in your approach. See below for a demonstration
