22.01.2022 A different take on things.

22.01.2022 Bunbury Felting Group HAS NOT updated or changed their address. We still operate out of STIRLING STREET ART CENTRE, BUNBURY. A post to say we have changed is false.

22.01.2022 If you happen to be in Hungary.......if not watch this space.

20.01.2022 Yay! We are officially back in business - the lifting of more restrictions means Feltwest can enact our provisional plan of events including Toss n Tell, Tuesda...y Group, Beginners & Skill Extension Program, and Workshops. As dates and tutors are confirmed we will bring you the all of the details, and of course when the bookings will open. First cab of the rank is the First Tuesday Group July 7th with a free Skills Extension demonstration. Jean and Sue will share a fun session with a variety of quick and simple ways to make felt cords. Plus all day felting - excellent. Toss n Tell July 18th will have double demos with Felt Flowers, and Shrinkage Rates - more details and what to bring are on our site. feltwest.org.au COVID-19 We do have a couple things we still need to remember. Firstly and most importantly - if you do NOT feel well in any way please stay at home but if you are well please bring your own cup or mug - every little thing helps. I will send the definitive rules just before the 18th. As always - please ensure you sign in at the welcome desk and sign out as you leave. There is also a Beginners Workshop July 18th in the studio and bookings are now open. All of the Beginners and Skills Extension Program workshops are now published and bookings are open. feltwest.org.au See you soon!

13.01.2022 We are really looking forward to catching up with everyone Live, on Friday the 25th at 9 am EST. We will be telling you all about Fiber Fairy Friday and answering any other questions that may have arisen since we saw you last. Can't wait; I have goose bumps!

11.01.2022 Our roving Felt camp reporter Colleen wrote: " After missing our scheduled May camp at our usual Camp Headquarters in Kudardup near Augusta, we were very happy to be able to get together , finally, in June. The weather was distinctly wintry but the wood heater was reliably warming & we were felting so determinedly & so focussed on our projects & fed so often & so well (!) that we barely noticed when the skies opened, the wind gusted & thunder rumbled. It wasn't all wet, the s...un did also shine. As usual we all came completely over prepared, but if you've got space in your car to bring it - why not ? Sometimes kitchen sinks are just what you're needing to finish that project. By the end of our 3 days (which passed at twice the speed of regular days), an array of wonderful felted articles adorned the show n tell table. Techniques had been explored, articles from Felt magazine had been studied, skills had been drawn upon & shared, finished projects marvelled at, problem solving solved problems & we were all happy felting campers by the time we packed up & headed back to reality & domestic duties."

10.01.2022 Yikes...It is almost our July meeting! The first meeting after the COVID quarantine in June was divided into two sessions so we could adhere to the regulations. It was wonderful to be together again, despite the rules, in the studios of the brand new 'sparkling' building. Well done Stirling Street Art Centre!
