25.01.2022 I have found someone to undertake the deliveries for me while we’re away. Jack is an accomplished and very steady driver and will perform admirably. Please note that us and probably all the others water carriage companies are now booked up to 2 weeks in advance. Please keep an eye on your water levels. Also, while the weather is like it is, and wait times keep pushing out, give consideration to booking your next load while we are there. It’s much easier to cancel than try t...o get a delivery at short notice. We don’t mind if you cancel, the slot will be picked up very quick. Steve.

23.01.2022 What to Look For When Buying Water Filter Products As most of you probably know we sell and install water filtration equipment. We haven't been very active in this space yet, but behind the scenes we have been very active. Keep checking in for some great new developments in the near future. When you search for water filters on the internet you'll see a HUGE difference in pricing. Why? Well in most cases you will actually get what you paid for. Sometimes you're just getti...Continue reading

21.01.2022 Well it was great to sit outside last night, listen to the rain on the roof and feel the gentle spray from the wind. Around 130mm at Bargara in the last 2 days. Post is a bit lengthy today, but probably important. Now that nobody needs water delivered we have been receiving calls for our tank cleaning services. And a lot of calls go something like this; "Our water has gone brown and it smells" It looks a bit like the water in the glass in the picture beneath....Continue reading

12.01.2022 Happy new year everybody. May we get some rain and your tanks overflow in the near future! Speaking of which, do you know the main reason for the dry weather these past few months? It seems to be partly because of an event over Antartica called "sudden stratospheric warming." It was predicted by BOM back in September, and it looks like the have completely nailed the forecast. You can read about it by following the link. http://www.bom.gov.au/climate/updates/articles/a035.sh...tml The good news is they predicted it to last through to January. And with the recent shower activity hopefully they got that right also. We've had 15mm at Bargara in the last 24 hours. That's 7mm more than the total for last January. Anybody getting any rain inland yet? Oh, and another event called the Indian Ocean Dipole. So a sort of double hit. You can Google that one. Kim and I spent 5 days with our daughter in Alice Springs over Christmas. Talk about hot. Not a day under 45C. Even her dog wouldn't go outside, burnt his feet!! Lovely place to visit though. April to September. Anyway, hope you all have a great year and thank you very much for your likes, shares and comments over the last 12 months. Steve. See more

10.01.2022 WATER DELIVERY SCHEDULED A quick note to let you know how the delivery schedules are standing in the Bundaberg region. Presently at least 2 of the 5 water carter’s are booked out to Christmas. I’m fielding over 30 calls a day, others have reported over 60. If you run out chances are you won’t get anyone for days. Advise is to book your water 2 to 3 weeks in advance. It’s easier to cancel than run out of water. Somebody will pick up a cancelled order very quick. Cheers,... Steve See more
