18.01.2022 It’s super cold and wet outside. Last year we would have been down the farm, moving baby pigs to their new homes, moving their Mum’s to new paddocks, moving the next lot of pregnant girls to their plots and strawing up in the rain. What a difference a year makes. I know tomorrow I can wake up and stay in bed if I want. We loved our pigs but it’s time like this you think- I am so glad we are finished with that chapter of our lives. Bring on the glorious rain!!!!!

15.01.2022 Hey everyone just to let you know we are open next Saturday the 26th for Australia Day with modified trading hours 8am-12noon

11.01.2022 Dorper sheep and fences don’t work well together. Any weak spots and they walk through. Fencing. Fencing. Fencing.

10.01.2022 Been away for a while. Life has changed so much, both on the farm and off. The world has changed, it’s like a SciFi movie but CoVid is real. What else is real is that life goes on. Beautiful sunsets, new babies, things grow and birds sing in the mornings. Hopefully life is now with more thoughtfulness and kindness. That’s one thing good farmers know. If you think about the animals you raise and are kind, they grow and thrive. We brought the pregnant ewes up to the house ...paddock so we could monitor them more regularly while they lambed. (Bonus Ulterior motive- grass was mown quite nicely) This little munchkin must have been a bit twisted on leaving its mum . Danny is a twin. Her legs wouldn’t hold her but she had such fight and determination and such a good, protective Mumma. After a bit of examination (and research on good old google) we came up with these. We will take them off in a couple of days and hopefully she will be right. Ps she can move pretty fast even with these on See more

09.01.2022 We acknowledge and respect every ones personal choices. We don’t however support bullies or fanatics who harass and try to force their choices on to others. It’s okay to be passionate, we have been passionately caring and working our farm for 25 years, often looking after our stock better than we did ourselves and our family. Some might say this was financially driven. PLEASE, we often didn’t have a brass razoo to rub together but our pigs never missed out on food and round ...the clock care. When you commit to animal husbandry and farming it becomes your life. I am insulted and angry by the claims of cruelty etc that are being pushed and the illegal entry to people’s farms (which are their homes) and businesses. We live in Australia, a democratic society were we have the liberty to choose where we live, where we work, who we marry and whatever we want to consume. How about we be Australian, be fair dinkum, be a mate, work hard, play hard, love unconditionally and look after our own backyards. Proud to be an Aussie Farmer! See more

08.01.2022 Good night and good morning from Bundawarrah

07.01.2022 Looking back at some of the many achievements we have had a Bundawarrah. Makes you proud!

06.01.2022 Good morning- another beautiful day at Bundawarrah

06.01.2022 Danny is going great. One leg is strong and sturdy, the other is still twisted but improving. We decided to refresh his (yes a he- my mistake) casts and leave on a bit longer. I nearly had a hearty trying to catch him today. He is such a little trooper and his mum is definitely a mother of the year candidate. Keep you posted.
