20.01.2022 Binningup beach is a great place to learn how to surf or progress to intermediate. We love this place and will be running lessons here throughout winter as long as there is surf ! Like other sports there are some risks associated with surfing but we try our best to provide a safe and fun experience for all those involved. 12.01.2022 Just checking the surf at a southern location today I found myself in a nice debate/argument with a salty old local today who told me Surf Schools should not exist! After a bit of verbal judo I found out why he had such a philosophy and it came down to visiting surfers (including high performance surf school kids)that had shown little or no respect out at his home break. I told him I was sorry to hear this but we teach surf etiquette to all our surf school students and they ...are all respectful and grateful for the experience. I also mentioned that we actually consider the people that we share the beaches with and generally stay away from more experienced surfers and watercraft alike. He was stoked to hear this and with a handshake and a smile we parted ways with a new perspective /understanding and some mutual respect #respectthelocals #surfforfun #surfettiquette See more
