22.01.2022 Couple of Glorys rolled through the other morning. Bit slow getting them posted.

21.01.2022 It is not far from Easter now. The threat of a cyclone has vanished. The skies are blue its not too hot and the fish are still here even if the Easter Fishing Comp has been cancelled. If you are looking for somewhere to go for the long weekend give us a call. There is plenty of accommodation options available.

21.01.2022 We still have plenty of powered sites left for Easter Weekend so pack your tent, swag or van and come up for a visit. See if you can catch yourself a Barra and win a prize at the Fishing Competition.

21.01.2022 So Jake & I are at the end of day 6 of our self isolation as per LGDM requirements. Have had a couple of people drive around our closed sign at the park entrance to get stuff from the shops. Sorry that we have not been able to assist you. We will be open again on the 6th of April so we look forward to seeing every one then. Stay safe. Remember if we all do the right thing things will get back to normal much quicker.

20.01.2022 The mornings are absolutely glorious at the moment. Lovely cool nights for camping. A steady flow of barra, salmon and grunter being caught in the river and there is the odd crab being caught as well. Where else would you want to be!!!

13.01.2022 Well only a week away from the Morning Glory Festival. The last 2 mornings have produced some great clouds. Weather pattern for the next few days is looking very promising. Still some camp sites available if you want to get up here and join in the fun.

05.01.2022 Congratulations to the rest of Queensland on being able to travel. Unfortunately Burketown and the Burke Shire is still a Pandemic Control Zone under Biosecurity so we cannot allow any visitors other than essential services in at this time. Hopefully we will not have to wait toooo long.
