05.01.2022 PROBLEMS WITH OPEN PLAN LIVING // We built our house many years ago and loved the idea of open plan living.... until we had kids!! We needed another room we could lock away from those little hands and so we decided to turn our side lounge (Junk / whatever goes) room into our office / parents retreat. Closing off one opening with a door, lockable from both sides (a must) and the other into a custom made wall unit with storage. Finishing the look by cladding the walls in Easyc...raft VJ Boards, pre-primed and ready to be painted. We could not be happier with the end result. Now to find some time to paint! If you are needing to create a room or different zones within your open plan living and you’re not sure where to start, ask us, we are happy to offer some advice. #burkscarpentry
