06.01.2022 Happy International Yoga Day , ‘Namaste’ nuh-muh-stay, a Indian greeting gesture that translates to ‘ I bow to you’. Cosmic Yoga on YouTube, a fun themed, interactive yoga for toddlers. The children chose ‘Yoga on the farm’ and practiced the animal poses with the instructor. Yoga is a fantastic way for your toddlers to practice balance and strength

04.01.2022 Today is World Read Aloud Day, you can tell stories in so many different ways. I love books and read to the children every day, we have 2 little libraries at Day Care; board books and paper books. Today we read the 3 little pigs then re-acted it with props, next we read the hungry caterpillar and told the story again on the felt board.

01.01.2022 National Reconciliation week is a time for all Australian to learn about our shared histories, cultures and achievements, to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. We had Wendy and her 4 FDC children for combined care and craft this morning. This years theme is ‘Grounded in Truth - Walk together with Courage’, this is my way of interpreting Reconciliation week for toddlers, we made a craft piece titled ‘We walk together’.
