10.01.2022 In January of 2013, Lucy Connolly attended a millinery summer school course in Toowoomba where she was amazed by the process. Deciding to take up the art form, she bought her very first sewing machine and set on her journey home to begin creating pieces. Only days after arriving home, Lucy's house was flooded and her brand new sewing machine, still in its box, washed away. Her classmates from the summer school banded together and bought Lucy a new machine and she has been cre...ating ever since. Although Lucy still makes the occasional headpiece, her love is really for leather handbags, especially hair on hide. Recently she has also started to experiment with fabric and other mediums to add pops of colour to outfits. We are excited to have Lucem bags and accessories at the Pop Up Shop again this year. Open from 2nd to 11th December 2021 at the Mundubbera Community Hall in Lyons St. Open 9am to 5pm weekdays and until 2pm on Saturday and Sunday. #BurnettChristmas #BurnettChristmasPopUpShop #NorthBurnett #VisitNorthBurnett #ShopNorthBurnett #cowhidebags #Handmade #EidsvoldMade
