25.01.2022 It is with heavy hearts that we share the news that our much loved friend, student , coach, teacher and mentor to many, Mark Burnie, passed away ( 02/01/1992-...13/05/2019 ) Mark Burnie, Beloved son of Greg Burnie and Tania Cooper, Brother of Dean Burnie , step son of James Cooper, Father to Hayley and Alice and loved and adored partner of Jess Walsh. Your son was an inspiration to me and many others at our club. I / we admired all those wonderful qualities that made him the special person that he was. He had intelligence, wit, charm and a caring heart , his cheerful smile and incredible sense of Humor will be missed by all that were lucky enough to know him. We will remember the fun times shared together, I never heard an ill word spoken of him. He was kind, compassionate, and a true gentleman. Sadly there are few people like that in the world today, I am thankful that I had the opportunity to get to know Mark better and to call him a friend. I will cherish his memory for years to come.
