13.01.2022 CBD Greening Project Council has partnered with the Anglican Church on the corner of Mount and Cattley Streets in the CBD, to develop a Greening Burnie p...roject. Our community plan #MakingBurnie2030 has a key strategy to enhance and develop green spaces within our commercial areas and streetscapes. This small but important project will include removing some concrete slabs to create more useable and attractive grass areas complemented by landscaping elements and seating. Councils works teams will take 2-3 weeks to complete this greening project and during that period the site will be secured to keep pedestrians and workers safe.
