15.01.2022 Burning Palms is thrilled to be at the @timbermillstudios with a raft of other creatives. Such a happening hub to keep the covid blues at bay. This new lease of life is celebrated with Regina Wilson’s light filled etching ‘Message Sticks’ from Peppimenarti, new to the Burning Palms stock room. ‘Message Sticks’ 2008 Etching on Hahnemuhle 350gsm 56 x 67cm (image 46 x 66.5cm) ... DM if you would like to know more. #burningpalmsgallery #illawarra #wollongong #peppimenarti #reginawilso
12.01.2022 Just want to express my thanks to the fabulous team here at Burning Palms. We have come through drought, fire, flood and a global pandemic with a new sense of purpose to celebrate the preciousness of life and this earth through art. Big shout out to Chan, Gab and Dilini for all their support, energy, expertise and their willingness to weather the storms. And a big thank you to all our supporters out there that keep small businesses alive. We will be launching new prints from local artists @artspace2515 in Thirroul on the 15th January 2021. Join us if you can! #burningpalmsgallery

01.01.2022 Bettina Kaiser’s Climate Emergency and How can we sleep prints are now available on the Burning Palms website The Cimate Emergecy and How can we sleep posters were designed by @b_k_a_d in immediate response to the 2019/20 summer bushfires in Australia. A wakeup moment for many, clearly showing the need for stronger environmental laws and policies. The design is inspired by @extinctionrebellion art. Posters were taken to protest marches and prints on scrap paper wer...e given away free to anyone taking them to protests, pasted, or displayed in public spaces. The limited edition print is printed on Envirocare paper and Bettina is donating proceeds to help raise funds for the Climate Council’s work. Got the poster but want it in on a tee? If you’re interested in wearing it on your chest, send us a DM if we get enough orders we’ll do another print run - with all proceeds going to the @theclimatecouncil
