23.01.2022 JUST RIDE Clinic with Pinky Collins. Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th of June 2020. Limited to 8 riders. 8 Riders $260pp for the whole weekend. Stables and yards available for an additional fee.... Held at Burong Equestrian Center, Winchelsea. Pinky Collins has successfully competed Extreme Cowboy Racing & Western Riding being 2 x Australian Champion exca, competing Extreme Cowboy Racing in the USA, however also teachers general problem solving as well as Extreme Cowboy Racing and caters for beginners all the way up to advanced riders and Horses. 13.01.2022 David Mellor Clinic 12th July Hosted by the Burong District Equestrian Club ‘Riding to achieve balance’... David is a current Australian National Working Equitation accredited judge. Helping riders develop skills and the horse’s confidence in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Learn how to develop the balance, posture and relaxation using the principals of classical dressage and Working Equitation. Understanding the basic bio-mechanics of how a horse moves will help explain why a horse needs to move in a certain way. The relaxed jaw, swinging hindquarters, soft muscles with regular rhythm are all key highlights that a student will learn at one of my clinics or lessons. Format: Small groups of 4 for 1.5hrs. Together we will use the obstacles from Working Equitation as a training guide to improve ourselves. 02.01.2022 "Saying Farewell" As some of you will be aware, The Greens (Fran, Tony & Tash) have SOLD Burong and will be parting ways as of 30th of April, 2020. We would like to take a moment to thank everyone we have met over the last 3 years for making our time here as enjoyable as it has been! It has been so wonderful getting to know so many of you from all different walks of life; from different states to different countries, thank you! ... There is no denying we will definitely miss calling this beautiful place home. We are super excited for the new owners Dave, Gemma and their daughter Eden and we know that Burong will bring you as much joy, happiness and amazing memories as it has to us.
