Being apart of the committee means contributing to fund raising ideas, introducing new ideas and concepts to an already well established club, helping with our Annual Picnic Race Day and other community events. 17.01.2022 The Burrangong Picnic Race Club's biennial fundraising event is set to take place on Saturday 13th March 2021 with a trackside long lunch providing a festive atmosphere for an afternoon of fabulous fun & frivolity. Ticket pricing includes a 3 course meal catered by Eat Your Greens, Drinks (Beer, Wine & Soft Drinks), Live music entertainment, bus transport, and awesome live auction. 08.01.2022 Unfortunately, in these unprecedented COVID-19 times there are strict crowd restrictions and social distancing policies that apply to race meetings held in NSW and an even bigger responsibility rests on our shoulders to keep our community and patrons safe. With all things considered, we do not believe we would be able to hold the type of event that the Burrangong Picnic Races have evolved to be and in that regard, we as a committee have made the very difficult decision to cancel our race meeting that was scheduled to be held on Saturday 10th October 2020. Whilst we are saddened that this years races are cancelled, our committee are already excited to be planning our bi-annual fundraiser for February/March next year and of course, looking forward to returning to our race meeting in O C T O B E R 2 0 2 1 #BPRC #racingNSW #hilltopsregion

02.01.2022 Prior to releasing details of our V E R Y E X C I T I N G fundraiser... We wanted to let our patrons, potential attendees and our wider community of Young know that this event will be COVID Safe. ... Our committee have worked extremely hard, and will continue to do so to ensure this event meets all of the current NSW Health Requirements. We have a covid safety plan, have registered as a covid safe business and have measures put in place to ensure everybody’s safety. The event will be ticketed, the details of each attendee with be recorded, there will be QR codes to sign in upon entry, social distancing will be adhered too, and there will be an abundance of sanitising stations available. We are very much looking forward to holding a social event that can bring much excitement to our community following what has been a pretty dismal year, but in saying that, also want you to be reassured that this event will be COVID SAFE
