25.01.2022 A Question from Jenelle: "Do dogs dream? Ruby's legs are twitching in her sleep and she did a little puppy bark and flicked her tail." Jenelle. " *.*.*.... Yes dogs do dream and apparently they dream about day-time activities, much like we humans do. The flicking eyelids are due to the REM sleep cycle. Puppies tend to twitch more often than older dogs. This is because the pons part of the brainstem is responsible for inactivation of muscles during sleep. It is less well developed in puppies so you may notice that twitching is more obvious. 22.01.2022 THE SHOCK TWIST You know those shock plot twists during the grand finale of "The Bachelor" or "Married at First Sight"? Well, get ready for our own unexpected ending to our Liveability/ Lovability Chew Challenge. The clear winner is .... Drum Roll Please ..."Snuggle Puppy"!!!!! ... "Well it looks like my sewing box will have to be permanently on hand! Dino lasted two days, but as soon as he got the clicker out, he seemed to lose interest. His attention then turned to Big Ted. After a few days, Big Ted is only missing an ear and some of the stuffing - the rope is still intact. Weirdly, he has never ‘Rafi-handled’ his Snuggle Puppy (with the heartbeat) you sent with him! It is the one and only toy he has intact! We will keep an eye on what happens to the bear over time, but we think he will be a worthy opponent and give him many hours of fun!" Joseph and Jan

21.01.2022 MAXIE: [Burrinjuck Skittles and Clairevale Picasso] * * * * * "Hi Katrina,... Just wanted to send you a pic of Maxie at 14 weeks. He is a healthy 6.5kg and is a huge bundle of pure joy. He is a wonderful addition to our family and provided us with so much fun and love especially throughout this never ending lockdown. We have ‘graduated’ from 5 weeks of puppy school via Zoom (very strange but fun) so he knows his basics well. He is smart and very cheeky and I get stopped on our walks constantly asking who my breeder is, and I always recommend you highly. " Jo See more

We have been totally inundated with customers who had enquired back in May, June and July and numbers are once again out of control. Please be patient with us. We are a small Boutique Business and have not increased our breeding numbers or price through Covid. We hope to open up to new enquiries in January.

09.01.2022 MARTHA [Saffron and Sebastian's Litter]. Born 18th March, 2016. Large Medium Size. * . * . * . * . * . * . * . * . * . * . * . * . Beautiful Martha is a rare parchment colour. This is a shimmery silver colour that reminds me of a scoop of milo with a generous serving of milk. This colour is born chocolate and develops gradually over a period of time. Isn't she so stunning.

08.01.2022 Another question from Jenelle. "I just read your "What generation" blog page and was wondering if you could tell me what generation Ruby is please and what her parents are? Just curious and friends and family are asking..."... *** Puppies from Eva and Flanders Litter are categorised as ALF2. This means that they are multi-generational Australian Labradoodles and have Miniature Poodle, Labrador and Cocker Spaniel in their lines.

08.01.2022 CRATE TRAINING TIPS. 1. Timing is everything. Give your puppy practice at spending time in his/her crate during the sleepy periods and after they have had a big play. . 2. Consider leaving the crate door open and all of the yummy snacks, fun toys and comfortable bedding INSIDE the crate. It should be boring and uncomfortable outside the crate environment. .... 3. Set up the crate [at least, initially] in close proximity to where you work and rest. Your puppy is not used to being away from his/her siblings and will feel anxious and insecure for the first little while. . 4. The Snuggle Puppy Toys with the beating heart and heat packs are MAGICAL at soothing an anxious puppy. . 5. Avoid opening the crate while your puppy is whining. Puppy may associate whining with being let out of the crate. . 6 Give your puppy a toilet stop prior to putting your puppy in the crate and take him/her outside to toilet again as the first priority after letting him out of the crate. 03.01.2022 SLEEPING ROUTINES Your puppy will come to you at around eight weeks of age. Eight short weeks. Let that sink in for a moment. Your puppy is still a baby. His or her sleep routines will likely follow a predictable pattern. Your puppy will usually wake when the sun comes up. This burst of energy is then followed by a long period of sleep for the morning and again in the afternoon. Puppies sleep A LOT. I remember when our human children were babies we used the word 'arsenic' hour to describe the period of time from around 4.30pm to 6.30 pm and our puppies are the same. They have a crazy hour just prior to sunset then they will relax during the evening until it is time for an early bed-time at around 7.30 - 8.00pm.

01.01.2022 Doug is surrounded by love in his new home.
