20.01.2022 Just to let you lovely quilters out there, know that I am open for business. However, social distancing protocols have been put in place. Drop offs and pick ups will be short and sweet and will occur at the front of our garage. Please make an appointment to ensure you will be the only one here at that time! Looking forward to seeing you all when this virus runs out of steam! Take care all and stay safe!

19.01.2022 Or a quilters room!

17.01.2022 It takes a lot of hard work to run a handmade business! It's not just the time it takes to make things, it's the hours spent researching supplies. It's the t...ime spent talking to customers in between schools runs, child wrangling and cooking dinner. It's the gut wrenching feeling when you take a gamble and spend a tonne of money on new supplies. It's the time spent packaging up orders and doing postal runs so your parcels can get out the door quickly. It's hours spent getting products loaded online for sale. BUT... It's also the time spent reading messages from happy customers after they receive their orders. It's that feeling you get when you receive photos from your smiling customers with your products on or in their home. It's the orders you get from people who keep coming back to order more It's the messages you get from new customers who heard about you from a friend. It's that happy feeling in your gut, that makes all the hard work and all the time you spent worth it! Thank you for supporting Australian Handmade and Australian makers you legends you! We really do Love Australian Handmade! And you makers, YOU rock our world!

13.01.2022 Here is a little video of the shop on this Sunday morning.

12.01.2022 I see your brooch bouquets and I raise you.... the embroidery swatch wedding dress! I collect vintage embroidered pieces and took a bag of them to my seamstress... (shout to to Mindy Wilkinson!) - she worked her magic, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the end result. Every single piece of embroidery on the bodice was from hankies, tablecloths, etc. that I found at thrift stores and flea markets, except for a select few *extra special* pieces that were sewn by my great- and great-great-grandmothers. I was so honored to carry their legacy with me on one of the most important days of my life! See more
